It's better if we tackle every notices and updates here and AFAIK bitcoin forum seems a social media to me, to the rampant trolls and shitposts, some drama, sometimes even unprecedented fights too between members.

This forum seems the classic social media.

Twitter @bitcointalk is official, but I only use it for outage notices and such. If there are no problems, then there will be no @bitcointalk messages.

I don't use social media. If you think that some social media functionality would be useful (such as pointing to interesting posts), feel free to do it yourself. If it's an interesting project, I might be willing to create APIs to help you. But since I don't use these sites, I don't even know what people would want.
I guess you are old person.
That is why you don't like, even don't mind using social  media channels; and recently you disable animated avatars in the forum.
Do I guess it right?

Anyway, I support your decision to disable animated avatars, that looks annoying.
The case become worse with animated avatars that have shortly repeated speeds.

I also remembered that months ago, you started a topic asks for demand of community on creating Bitcointalk's Youtube channel, there

If theymos wants to socialize bitcointalk little more, he should create an official btt account on instagram, right now its the best place to grow a community, but of course the account needs to be active for that.
Why Instagram account would be needed for Bitcointalk. I don't see how social networks would be beneficial for forums like Bitcointalk. Actually, online forums or Reddit is social media also.
I guess you are old person.

You're wrong, theymos is just 27 years old. If someone don't use social networks, it's not a reason to call him old, everyone has their views and preferences.

Sure, I just guess.
No one is the same as others, I just said the common different viewpoints and preferences between two generations, old and young.

If the admin has been actually 27 years old, he joined the crypto in his 17 year-old (more than ten years ago), amazing. It's very impressive.

I am just curious about the Twitter profile for Bitcointalk at this point, it has nearly 15k followers and has not been used for quite some time. Would be cool if someone would work out a plan on how to restore it effectively.
