How many miners can 1 controller board handle in total? I have a 49-port hub ready for mining. 

The controller is a slim linux box, which spawn a minerd instance for every miner detected, so I'm pretty sure 15 per controller is not a maximum. CPU load may be a limiting factor.

Yes, each chip does 60 - 70 kH/s

in one miner are 5 chips .. so around 300 - 350 kH/s
