Maybe someone should write a code to mine using India's cheapest tablets, cheap enough to buy in bulk and run.  Heard that it is out.

interesting device, wouldnt mind buying one if the screen is half decent for watching netfilx or in place of my car stereo, but the 800mhz arm chip isn't a stunning performer, i'd hate to see what a cheap pc would have to cost before a stack of those would make sense

i'd love to put my hands on one, although not having a capacitive touch screen, sets it aside for me...
About mining, just forget it... it's not even worth the price for that!
Very extra slow, worse than mining with an Nokia N900.

The electrical cost would be many magnitudes higher than the coins produced even if you got the tablets for free.  It would be like buying atom netbooks to mine.

If these become available commercially in India, but not elsewhere, I think someone in the subcontinent could make a pretty bitcoin shipping these babies. Likewise, I'd buy an Adam with pixelQI or eInk.

It does look sweet. But when are these tablet companies going to realize there is demand for taking a tablet out into the sun? Consumers don't know that they want this.

The(more expensive) thinkpad tablet is deisgned to be more(although not perfectly) readable in a wider range of enviroments, i wouldnt take it outdoors but i do like the keyboard ect that it includes

Woah, I might pick one of those up. I'm typing now on my Lenovo ThinkPad X200 that I refuse to let die, perfect size with the clit stick and NO track pad. Thought this would be the last of its kind. Now, the real question is, can I stand on it?

I can still stand on my w510 so maybe??? i'm not sure about the tablets i know the thinkpad tablet is reinforced but i'm not sure how(i've seen the inside of my w510 though)
I actually don't mind the presence of the trackpad i just set it to "scroll only" and use it as a giant scroll pad since that's all it's accurate enough for on any laptop
