Interesting that someone is pointing this out.  I do so as often as I can.

In the past week, two of the largest Bitcoin exchanges have been hit with one of the largest distributed denial of service attacks (DDOS) ever seen (estimated at 400 Gbps), and some of the media is commencing an attack of their own against Bitcoin for very different reasons.

Is that the same DDOS attack as mentioned here (http://www.ddosattacks.net/largest-ever-ddos-attack/) to be the largest DDOS attack ever?
Quote
CloudFlare said that the attack was close to 400Gbps in size, making it bigger than last year’s DDoS attack against anti-spam outfit Spamhaus, which was measured at just over 300Gbps.

Confidentiality stopped CloudFlare from revealing the identify of the customer under attack, and there were few details on how many other companies had been affected.

I completely agree. Trugman's articles about Bitcoin are appalling. However, this article needs more rebuttal than just saying Trugman is bad because he uses buzzwords to attack bitcoin. If a newbie read this article, I don't think they would have any better understanding.

Less emotion and more explanation would have been nice.

While I'm glad to see a couple of people with the balls to write this in public and call people out on their bullshit, it won't do much because the majority of people only ever read what these stupid media outlets are putting out, we can only really hope that as with most things financial everyone will start looking deeper into things and question what is being posted everywhere.

Ugh, hurtle in the URL. LOL

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

Yes, I have to agree that it wasn't written by a person who knows the subject well enough to explain their self in a way that is truly helpful.  I was glad to see the sentiment expressed, though.
