I understand that most people that post here are already computer savvy.

However I am offering any troubleshooting service for any computer issues/problems you may have or cannot figure out.

Since I am a newbie on these forums, I am offering my service free of charge and will provide an address if you are willing to tip or if you find my advice or service helpful.

Just PM for any questions or problems you have with a troubling computer problem or a nagging issue that you simply need a second pair of eyes on.

Just shoot me a PM of the description or question you may have and I will do my best to help out.

My Background:
-Desktop Support
-PC Technician
-Troubleshoot Outlook issues/Office 365 Administration
-Basic Active Directory
-Network + Certified
-Previously worked for a large ISP in the US (monitoring SNR and node issues)

Thanks,
ScaredTig

Dear Cosette,

Thank you for your question.
I would say that if its only 12% and if you are on an SSD (flash not mechanical) it is not a cause for concern.
Only if you are suffering from big issues such as freeze ups or hangs ups then we should probably start to check into it more.
You may have done this already but a chkdsk /f might also be in order.
I cannot speak for the software you recommend. But there is one great diagnostic tool I use, and that is "Hard Disk Sentinel"
You can google this find and download the free version software for diagnostics. This will diagnose the total health of hard drive.
If your health is under 90%, I would recommend start backing up your data and consider a replacement of the drive (SSD is good) with a HDD (mechanical as back up/storage).
Let me know if you have any other questions and I will be happy to help.
Long Story Short: Its possible but dependent on the condition and drive type and probably not worth using third party software that claims to fix bad sectors.

Thanks,
Scared Tig
