Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I understood was has been wrong: I had to leave my wallet unlocked for minting blocks. As I'm new with cryptocoins that was a trick for me. After I've unlocked the wallet the F@H rewards are dropping in.

You have to change symbol to prevent continued crashes, mass disillusionment and exodus from the network. Change it to something else, there is already a coin with the "emc" abbreviation. Einsteinium.

Isn't Einsteinium symbol ' emc2'? http://coingain.com/price/emc2/emc

Hi all,
Can someone tell why I was earning more than 1,473,062 points when I first started, using just a name without the Emercoin attached to it (e.g. myusrname_EW3uMrGWQrq8hKZN9iwkrSarebL4ByuwDZ) and without a team assigned other than the default assigned by the system, and when I did attach the Emercoin address to my name then I started earning less points, about 1,000 points in about 12 hours. How can I improve that and set it back as it was performing before?
In the first time, without the Emercoin address attached the team group wasn't showing any points, and in the second one with the Emercoin address attached was showing the points earn from the team.
How can I get those 1,473,062 points to my Emercoin address?
Should I keep using the user without the Emercoin address because it gives more points or should I use the username with Emercoin address and why? or any?
Also what is the criteria in order to choose a team? based on the credits (does this mean the user earn more points?) or let the system to assign one?
Thank you!

Yes there is a benefit of earning proof-of-stake (POS) when the coins are in your own wallet ... download the wallet from: https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/2144-emercoin-emc-information/Skip down to downloads. After installing create a receiver address and send your coins from POLO to the address. With proper redundant backups (throw one into your safety deposit box) you coins are probably safer than sitting on an exchange - esp if they gain in value and the exchange gets hacked (like what happened to Cryptsy although POLO I think is pretty tight - you just never know after Gox)

If that pays for the cost of running your own full node then you can justify staking with your own wallet. There's a POS guide at http://emercoin.com/MINING_GUIDEIf not then there are other options for staking. There are some online wallets such as https://emercoin.mintr.org/wallet and https://coinwallet.co/en/currency/EMC which offer to give you the POS interest. This shares the same risk as with exchanges that the service will die or be dishonest and you lose your coins, but at least they offer to stake them for you and give you the interest. So do your research
