Acredito que a maioria aqui sabe que PetroDollar (XPD), não é a moeda da Venezuela .... Mas,  estamos em uma mercado especulativo ,  a unica moeda ligada a Petro  no momento é a XPD , portanto, mesmo não sendo a mesma moeda, a ascensão da XPD  é perfeitamente normal .... The difficulty jumped through the roof and block discovery times tanked. Clearly this coin has nothing to do with Venezuela, but someone somewhere thinks so and is throwing some serious mining power at it. It jumped for 15mil to 61mil.

I've looked the OP, but it didn't cover what the difficulty adjustment time was, transactions have come to a complete stand still. Hopefully the network adjusts to the influx of hashing and things start to flow again.

What ICO? This was an experimental crypto that as far as I know was not premined or presold. Just didn't go anywhere

compile on your own machine. It will take more than 15 minutes, but the problem will resolve itself with modern dependencies.
