No of hacked accounts are increasing day by day. Everyone is facing a problem of delay response from the moderator. I know they have their own limitations .they are only two person and problems are very huge and they are increasing every day.

So why is global head not increasing the no of moderator  ??  they are many members,  who are continuously helping other and giving guidance, they can take the responsibility. from starting there was only two moderator and still, there are only two and No of members are increasing day by day.

in my opinion, we should implement the security features like mobile OTP,2FA etc. on an urgent basis (this has been already discussed in other thread) and also need to make the dedicated team, who can handle only the hacked account problem.

Well there already is a kind of 2-factor implemented to lock accounts via email if they have their details reset and that works, but the problem we have now is that the accounts aren't getting restored and if theymos or cyrus don't have the time to do it then they're not going to get recovered unless more staff are given access to do so, and if that was going to happen it probably would have by now.

Several two factor authentications will be available on the new forum software, but if that isn't coming any time soon then I think one should be implemented here to stop accounts from having their details changed without some sort of external verification first because locking the account is useless unless they're going to be restored.

The problem is we have people waiting for more than 1 year after presenting all cryptographic proof asked by both mods, which leads to people bumping their own threads to get some exposure of the fact that their problem isn't solved (understandably so).

This creates an ever growing clusterfuck of a backlog of unresolved cases, the queue will keep growing for as long as the process isn't faster than the rate of hacks. At some point entire meta section will be threads of people asking to get their accounts restored, if we aren't close to that already.

I doubt the restore account threads will overcome the crying merit threads lol

I'm kinda sure that the moderators are doing their best in ensuring this hacking issue is abolish, with the new forum software being put in place,  it's gonna curtail all the problems,  it seems  it's only the higher ranks that are being target which is bad considering the time spent in achieving such rank and it's been hacked upon

If admins don't have time to recover hacked accounts then I'm not sure that feature to lock accounts are needed. If password/email address was changed maybe it would be better to send notification with option to cancel these changes. Something similar like we have on some exchanges - when we make withdrawal we get email notification with options to confirm or cancel withdrawal. Such feature would make account hacking more difficult and users wouldn't need to lock their accounts anymore.

Good suggestion but I wouldn't say it would completely solve it. What about if hacker gains only access? He can still do a lot of damage.

I would suggest something that blockchain have. Like sending an email everytime a new IP connection tries to access the account with an option to Accept or Reject it along with what LTU_btc suggested.

Yes, it wouldn't solve problem completely because sometimes hacker also have access to user email, but I'm sure that number of hacked accounts would reduce significantly.
About IP,  it's a good suggestion, but I think it would cause inconvenience for people who are using dynamic IP addresses.
