Yo guys,
Alot of people practice arbitrage but they do USD/BTC which is a bit inconvenient since you have to transfer the USD to your bank account and re-do the same thing on the other exchange in question,so it would take quite a bit for time;enough to make arbitrage not worth doing anymore.
So my question is it possible to do arbitrage trading with USDT/BTC?
Regards

if both exchanges have a working USDT wallet where you can deposit and withdraw coins and also if the price difference is big enough to cover the costs of the arbitrage trade process including withdrawal fee and trading fees, then yes it is possible. but make sure to calculate everything before making any move and also consider the risk that is the always changing market.

I do not know if there anything that could do that. But if it is possible then that is quick a good idea and would help me a lot on my tradings.

In my opinion, it is very Much possible but you need to consider a lot of thongs before diving into any spotted arbitrage opportunity. You must consider transaction time and also fees on deposits and withdrawal and be sure that everything is in place and with all the fees, you would make profits.

Arbitrage should be done with 2 exchanges where you have both usd and coin and the same time. Only this way one can do quick arbitrage and take profit.

I did not tried it yet but I can say that you will never know until you try so if you will be the first man to do that probably will get to significant traffic from that Smiley

you can do arbitrage trading with any coin! it doesn't have to be USD or any variants of stable coins. for example you can do it with LTC. if you find a big enough difference between the price of it in two BTC/LTC markets on two exchanges you can do the arbitrage that way.

just make sure the market on both exchanges are active (sometimes exchanges deactivate some markets for different reasons like delisting a coin and price goes higher or drops lower because of that) and make sure you can deposit and withdraw coins you want first.

There is a FOMO brewing...

Since to take the trade you would need to go from a bank to an exchange to BTC to another exchange, to USDT and then to a bank (at some point) there are 2 risks:
  • The price of Bitcoin on the target exchange (Poloniex) will drop while the money is in transit and erode your profit
Tether will not get back their wire capabilities

If Tether isn’t able to get their wire capabilities back people would start selling off their Tethers which would force the price down relative to Bitcoin -that’s assuming that people will even want unredeemable Tethers. Realistically there is a non-zero chance that, if Tethers are unredeemable nobody would be in the market for them. In this very unfortunate situation, the price would be $0.

It is so hard to play arbitrage now, aside from you need a fast internet, you are battling with trade bots. These bots are programmed to make lightening fast arbitrage.
The only problem I can see with arbitrage is the huge withdrawal fee from exchange sites so you need a huge BTC to feel the profit.

It is very possible, it is possible because currently there are many exchanges available. each exchange must have a difference in price when compared with other exchange, well that's what we can use to be an opportunity to take advantage. But what should be a consideration is how we can minimize the cost of transaction fees on the exchange should be much smaller than the profit margin that we can. Usually it will be difficult because the large fee and current margin is also not too big. But there will be opportunities and we have to choose the right exchange. This is a mathematical calculation and we must calculate whether we will make a profit or not.

Yes this very possible because so many exchange offer pair of BTC/USDT, but the problem is fee of sending BTC or USDT is little bit high,  and you have to find exchange that has big different price , also you have to know how long will be comfirmed when sending BTC or USDT.
