This is a great news! I hope this could make the price go up also. So that, we people could get a higher chance on our trades. I do hope that this certain event will be available in our country too.

workers paid with cryptocurrency must match the wage currency in that country, because we know if cryptocurrency is currently increasing and decreasing. so I think this might be a new breakthrough and can be replicated in different countries.

https://news.bitcoin.com/costa-rican-workers-can-be-legally-paid-in-cryptocurrency/

In this article we can read that a new breakthrough in bitcoin economy is realized. We are always talking in this forum of the possibility of workers being paid in bitcoin or in any form of cryptocurrency. Finally the government of Costa Rica is now on the move of making that dream a reality by legalizing cryptocurrency as part of the salary of the workers.

The real question is, if this trend will become successful in long term or will not last long?

Oh wow. This is a good news we all must embrace. The government really needs an applause. This is what the other government should learn and start in their countries. Bitcoin really has good things to offer so we shouldn't undermine its relevance.

If cryptocurrency has some stability then it will be a good thing for the workers. Otherwise i think it won't last long as a payment system for the workers.

Surely this kind of news will very soon begin to populate the globe, at least this is not the only ones in this category there are more other workers receiving BTC and Alts for salary just about the ones globally reported.

This surely is a good news in the crypto world yet l believe people should do more researches on digital currency and have a good knowledge about technological advancement through this. As long as the country’s government shows its support then it is good for the mass citizens.

Good news but only to lift the moral state
Costa Rica is a country with limited economy
The btc trade volume is very small
So I think this news will have a very limited impact on the market
But overall it is a step along the way

You sure the article is for us? It is actually talking about paying part of citizens salaries in goods, here: "The country’s legislation allows employers to partly remunerate their staff with goods that are not currency"
It all depends on whether cryptocurrency is considered a currency, asset or both in the country.

Ofcourse it will last if it's meant for us. The salary allocation should be below 40% though due to volatility. I would allocate just 15 - 30 percent

this is good in some ways, bad in others. Those who link the Legal system, AML/KYC/Legal name via workplace really need to learn about their privacy and ways to protect it going forward.

This is such as good news to hear. Not only will this increase the demand of the crypto, this will flourish the economic condition of the country. Apart from that, this will create more jobs and will increase the miners in numbers.

This kind of news are really good for the cryptocurrency because someone is finally using bitcoin to give salary to workers but maybe this is just in testing stage due to bitcoin is not fix in terms of price so it can also be a disadvantage to workers.

Costa Rica's electronic money industry has grown steadily in recent years with the increasing number of businesses and businesses, including hotels and companies from the travel industry, accepting electronic money as a bargain. the lawful. Costa Rica, still relatively open to business projects in the field of electronic money, has also seen some Bitcoin ATMs appear in the capital San Jose and elsewhere.

this is a great initiative by the people of Costa Rica because gradually bitcoin is being introduced into our physical world where we can actually spend it as a digital currency. This would serve as an example for other institutions to follow and do same so that finally we can get to the stage where bitcoin is accepted as mode of payment for transactions.
