It is your bad strategy if you have not diversified and not holding any btc, as we should know that btc bulls can bulldoze everything else, btc dominancy is also increasing nicely that is also indicating strong btc bulls, i think it will be super run for btc.

I also think you should have some amount of bitcoin and even ethereum in your portfolio because they are the best coin to have in crypto, though the price is down now but there is a slow rise in the price of bitcoin and I think this will continue until the bull comes in and I also believe if there is higher demand for bitcoin, then the price will continue to grow and that is when the altcoins will also begin to rise but be patient for the market to recover fully and as the price of bitcoin rise, altcoin will also rise.

bitcoin is not crushing you or the market. the altcoin dumps are.
bitcoin rise has only made the dumps happen faster than usual otherwise the dumps would have happened on their own as it is customary of the pump to have a dump!

the problem was somewhere along the line last year people forgot that there is a dump coming after all the altcoin pumps.

As expected when Bitcoin is going strong many hands will sell their alts in favor of cashing in their BTC it is expected market behavior. I do suggest that you just hold your coins until they Bitcoin bull stabilizes and it would be the alts turn to increase in value.

It's true that the rise of Bitcoin is accompanying a decline in most altcoins but it is not all as we see a few ones making some surprising rise. In long run, the crypto market as a whole will experience a rebound and not just Bitcoin as we see it happening now.

Ride the wave so you won't be crushed.

Buy bitcoin and hold it on how you are holding those altcoins. In the crypto market if you are mostly holding alts, you'll be crushed most of the time if you don't have bitcoin.

Well, you should have planned this ahead, It is always wise to keep some of the major currencies like BTC. Though the price is high bitcoin has a lot of potential for growth. and if you have checked the last bull run in 2017 people tend to switch their earning or profit to BTC. lesson learn, but not a cheap one for experience.

Just wait for the turn of the altcoins to hit the moon and I think that can happen soon. Right now, it is for Bitcoin to gain the attention at the expense of many altcoins so we will just wait for the right moment as it is just around the corner. This can be the big reason why it is also good to be exposed to Bitcoin as well s alts and not just focused solely on the later. Too right about the alt season, this is going to be a major pump when all these new institutional investors join the party. Bit late but better late than never, btc and good alts will rally soon

Strong btc does not crash all the altcoins, if you can look at all coins, decentralized ones like litecoin, monero, digibyte which are similar to bitcoin are rising now. but I don't think altcoins will stay behind.

Bitcoin getting more strength to support the system, that's been predicted to occur earlier in the year. As bitcoin gets stronger, it doesn't mean altcoin is losing the importance. Beginning of the year showed good sign of growth along with altcoins. This time it needs to cross the $20000 making the year more perfect for the week.

After two years of experience in my market, many altcoins claim to be surpassing Bitcoin with advanced technologies, but not when Bitcoin increases and decreases. Currently I find the market is very optimistic in the next few months, Bitcoin increase will bring the altcoin in the next time, so you should do not worry, take a bit of rest
