In the 30 min between when I responded to you and when entries closed, I was able to put in another 15 or so lineups.

I will probably go 0/38 today.

That said, I obv agree with you that entries to freerolls need to be capped per person.  1 is fine, but I don't see any reason to allow over 5.  The same goes to double ups.  In GPPs, though, I don't think there needs to be a cap.

I agree with you that there should be a cap, but keep in mind that what you view as dumb others may view as intelligent...

I understand what you guys did and your point of view.  It's like the girl scout that recently sold cookies outside the medical marijuana shop.  

The reason I find it dumb is it changes the game.  It minimizes the fantasy sport aspect and makes the game more about how many entries can you get in.  There is still some fantasy aspect with what you are doing, you at least need to know the basics, but you cant argue that you are changing the game from being knowledgeable in fantasy sports to covering all your basis and trying to win by just entering as many teams as you can throughout the day.

I understand what you are saying, and why you are saying it.  It took me ~ 90 minutes total to research and enter all of my teams.  If someone really wanted to, they could have spent 12-16 hours and put in combinations of players to effectively give themselves a 100% chance of winning every prize spot.  The only thing I disagree with is the "changing the game" or "unfair" angle.  The game is what it is...unlimited entries.  It's different from a regular single-entry freeroll (which was also ran today).  I agree with you that it shouldn't exist in the future, and should be replaced with a limited-entry event...but since it is what it is, might as well play it to the best of your ability, right?

That is 100% accurate, no one did anything wrong entering multiple teams, everyone had that edge and it sounds like most people agree it probably should absorb a cap limit in the future.

Here's an idea: have the freerolls pay out in .01BTC tickets.  That way, the GPPs will get pumped up and the more people that enter, the more people that will enter since the prize pool will be larger.  In these sorts of things, people create people.
