I guess the easiest way to make an ico is to utilize the ethereum platform..

See https://www.ethereum.org/crowdsale, although i am not too sure how inclusive this "guide" is.

Also, some advice;

don't ask other people how to host an ico just to host an ICO, this only shows that you are a money-hungry fool.. (Also, i don't see any reason/incentive for anyone to invest in such an "ICO", especially if the creator doesn't even know two cents about it..)

Yer... If you need help to launch an ICO, how are you going to develop your token and its use case? if you knew how to code a blockchain you wouldn't be asking this question  Grin

I mean, if you don't even know how to create an ICO, then it's pretty obvious that you shouldn't be conducting one in the first place.

Don't do this. Best case scenario - you'll get scammed here asking for help.

There is no need for more ICOs. If you're the 1-in-a-million genius and you really have a brilliant idea - go to a bank / rich uncle / loan shark, get some money, implement your brilliant idea, get rich in the process.

Hello

ICO is a modern option for raising capital for your business or project. But you have to start with laws of your country. In some countries, you have to follow the same registration requirements as issuing stock the traditional way. There are A LOT OF scams related to ICOs. ICOs themselves can be scams, illegal schemes or the service providers can be scammers. This is unfortunately the reality we live in.

What country are you located in?

Why do you want to create an ICO? For the money or to solve some kind of problem?

Well said, and this is the problem we are facing now in the cryptospace. Because people heard there's something called an ICO and you can earn peoples money from there, anyone justs starts starts anything to get the money and most of these at the end becomes scam.
