Can you tell me which city and state? I can give you an exact price and delivery day? It's not going to be cheap for a single unit. I checked previously and it was something like US$80 Sad whereas a set of 10 would cost like about US$200.

Never had problems with it but CE marks would still be nice. Would it be possible to have the PnP Package 3 declared as say a 250USD computer game gateway?

price performance wise, wouldn't it make more sense to get a bigger rig?
Just wondering if this miner gives more bang for the buck with dual feature.

I can't prove my connection to Gridseed and DigInForce, as I only have orders and QQ chats with the agent that I can't show you. I can tell you now that I don't have much stock, only 100 units and they are going fast.

What I can only tell you is that I will receive the stock in Shenzhen latest at Friday so I would be able to fulfil the orders and arrange for Fedex/DHL pick up. I will post more photos when I receive the rest of the units.

More importantly, I have invested my money and I am willing to use an escrow service so funds are not released until goods are delivered. In addition, you can put an order through and pay the btc to an escrow, if I don't send out by Saturday 22nd then you are welcome to have your btc refunded from the escrow.

However, its a first in first serve basis and I don't have much stock =), it was difficult to get this stock as demand is overwhelming their current supply.

Price for shipping to Los Angeles, CA please

No, psu is not needed. If you buy single units they will come with a laptop like 12v5a power supply. All packages have everything in the box to get start hashing. I will have links to the required software for linux and Win64, compiled minerd.

For 5 and 10 units we supply a 360w 12v30a power supply to power upto 6 of these units. Using a computer PSU is not suitable because the voltage and amps are different, though someone in china has done it, you have to hack up your PSU and do lots of soldering to add capacitors and what not.

I'll PM you about the shipping cost.

Not sure how using a 1000w gold or platinum computer PSU would be a problem here. Unless of course your only loading it with one or two of these miners and running them in scrypt mode only. I would think that the load from 10-20 of these would be more than enough to keep any good PC power supply happy.

The thing about the caps confuses me too. The output from good power supplies is about as clean as its going to get. Adding more caps on the output isnt going to do anything other then adding a capacative load to the supply.

But, bottom line is that these things are in fact very cool! If they can deliver the numbers quoted here we can finally be free of GPU mining once and for all.

I'll see what I can do about CE marks. Yes, I can do that on the commercial invoice. I, myself had it as electronic fans, to clear customs in Australia at around that price. Shouldn't have any customs issue in my experience.

Thanks! Can you check the PMs I sent you regarding escrow and the shipping address and quote? TIA

Personally I never had problems with missing CE and the customs , think I have imported about 10 times w/o CE.

Hiya Atari,

Realise you're probably getting PM spammed, but just wanted to advise that I have actually sent you two PMs about the same subject. Not trying to hurry a reply, just letting you know that you should prob read both before PMing back Smiley

I am getting more stock mid next week. I can put you on the waiting list if you would llike and you don't have to pay until 2 days before shipping. And you can cancel anytime you like. When the stock comes in I will fulfil all members on the waiting list before taking new orders.

germany is very picky about ce, have refused a laser projector once

I have heard about it. Dunno, maybe I was just lucky, maybe customs here do not care.

Good news for all, some units now come with CE stickers now from the factory and those customers that require it (ie. shipping to Europe) will be sent those units.

I hope for 400 with an overclock, as per OP. Depends on HW errors and such I guess.

Whilst I understand why you would want to minimize electricity costs/maximise profit when Scrypt mining is marginal, however, at current levels scrypt mining is not marginal. The driving argument for which kit to buy should be greatest hash/$ NOT greatest hash/watt! (Unless you live in an amazingly expensive electricity region!)

I agree with your argument 100% , but are other circumstances where this trumps gpu miners.

1. When you max out your power at home. Instead to moving into and paying for a rented commercial property, you can put 24 sets of these on a 16amp line instead of 2 X 1200w gpu rigs.

2. When you live in a hot country like me and the heat causes stability problems in the gpu (and additional cooling costs).

Got the package

10 X Gridseed Miner
1 X Controller (no computer required to use the miner)
3 x 12V 30A DC industrial power supply (1 spare for no downtime!! 2 to power 10 miners)
1 x 10 Port ORICO usb hub (high quality for stability)
12 x 2.5mm DC power cables (2 spare cables)
10 x usb mini data cables
1 x 1A usb charger with usb micro cable (to power the controller)
1 x network cable
4 x Country power adaptor (AU, EU, US) to plug in 2 power supplies, usb hub and controller
Is what I was supposed to receive.

I did not get a 3rd PSU and I did not get the country power adapters. The 2 PSUs I got are wired for ,what I guess is Australian outlet. Unable to test till I buy adapters, but otherwise looks like a clean and fast shipment.

Ok, you need to post step by step , with pictures , of that damn Chinese contraption wiibox.
Done wasting time on it now, it seems to barely work. Going to try connecting it to a linux box instead. Not very plug and play so far.

Arrived very quickly. Fedex is about twice as fast as DHL from China. All miners arrived in good shape. Wiibox is not as bad as you might think. I like it better than the LightningASIC version.

The USA power adapters do not come with a ground connection (I think this is common for travel adapters). You may be better off cutting up local power plugs, that's what I did. I think the adapters will work fine but I prefer having a ground connection going to the PSUs.

Cept it does not seem to work and I am unable to see detailed stats. 监控中心 / Monitoring center says it all works - but nothing is reported at the pool. Sometimes powercycling does resolve the problem and they start to hash but sometimes they just go down. Not sure what is going here.

Yeah, scratch my earlier comment. I have it running but it is difficult to see what exactly is running. Google translate stopped working after I ungraded the firmware to 2.0.2 and I cannot figure out how to overclock. Any ideas on overclocking with wiibox for non-Chinese readers?

It is a little more technical but I can put a guide together for all to over clock. Should be easy for newbies. Just ssh into the controller, find the right text file and edit the speed there. PM me Pistachio and I can teach you quickly without the guide.

Cheers

I can sell you a controller for $75. But shipping will be around $40, depending on location. Better to run of controller than computer due to reset scripts being on the controller.

Its doable but you will only be able to mine scrypt and it will run at full power (BTC cores will be on) unless you run it on a Linux rig.

In Windows you need to run CPUminer and install the right driver for the grid. You also need to make sure that the grid is in a single digit COM port number.

There are lots of pointers within a few threads here.

So i've seen 2 confirmed shipments received.

Has anyone else received an order that can post pictures?  Just want to cover my bases as I am putting in an order.

I ordered a 10 pack a few weeks ago and you forgot my controller!!! They included the power cord for the controller but no controller! I have to use my gaming laptop to run my miners now. I'm pretty sad, not to mention the length of the power cords is only about 7 inchs.... 7 inchs. Definitely not what is pictured/advertised. Good thing the shelf I ordered for them has slots so I can slide the cords all around like some Chinese electric power grid. Please send me a controller ASAP. thank you.

You might be better off without the controller... Smiley The two I have tried suck stupid eggs. I just got a RasPi and plan on trying that but I'm not holding my breath.

How hard is it to set-up and compile Ras Pi and cgminer to run the gridseeds? Like starting from the ground up reading tutorials. Anyone happen to sell them compiled ready to plug'n'play?

Here is my current set-up.. For some reason two of the gridseed can't find any work on the wemineLTC pool.. Gonna give it a few hours to see if they eventually start up though.

I would love one but is it worth it as far as shipping goes since I am in the US?

Sure. That sounds great. Atari also said he'd provide me an image and refund the controller amount. Seems like a Rasp Pi is the better option after hearing all the bad reviews of the controller. Even though I'm tempted to go the easy way since I've never used a Rasp Pi. I think I'll be happier in the end.
