whats up with the miner sales?
Bitmain sold out, next shipping 28th, but old price and not opened orders
Avalon Clones not beeing sold anymore, except by Scammers
only the 5-chip Gridseeds are instock or near delivery now

You're mistaken. Antminers are ONLY sold as in hand hardware, and are made in batches. They are the premier hardware at the moment so demand has been astronomical. The last batch of Avalon2 chips were sold, so the only clones are the current ones in the pipeline. Plenty of other companies are delivering/about to. |

Plenty of other companies are delivering/about to. yes but those were preorders just 1-2 weeks ago you could always buy near-instock Ants or Avalons Go back 3 months ago and you couldn't. Go back 9 months ago and the ONLY way to buy hardware was from another member. Consider yourself spoilt that you only have to wait <2 weeks for huge amounts of hash rate. |

I think that actually they already sold out the 28th batch. they reopened sales on 14th with shipping for 18th and sold out quick found no info that 28th batch was ever opened. price for +2 weeks is ridicolous tough |

I think that actually they already sold out the 28th batch. they reopened sales on 14th with shipping for 18th and sold out quick found no info that 28th batch was ever opened. price for +2 weeks is ridicolous tough There was a sale on the 14th - Sold out in 1 second (about 15 - 20 machines) Then one on the 15th - Sold out in about 5 seconds (about 15-20 machines) Then one on the 16th (Shipping on the 28th) - Sold out in 12 hours. (500+ machines) |

(500+ machines) are these confirmed numbers or an estimate? 500+ units sounds like they cleared out old stock + hosted units and plan something new but 200GH at 1,45BTC received in march is a crazy game, cant believe anyone bought this |

I agree with your sentiments regarding the 1.45BTC for current stock though. |

It makes only a lousy 0,00725BTC / GHs so it's not that expensive. And mining might not be the only purpose to buy these babies. ^^ Cheers.  |

AFAIK "hosted" units are owned by customers, so it wouldn't make sense that they were re-sold to other people. the hosting plans were all "xy BTC for 3 months" as i remember. so i think of miners whose users dont extending their contracts Why is that so? It makes only a lousy 0,00725BTC because, even at eBay you wont get more than 1200€ for them. NOW and you usualy get >30% profit by selling there otherwise its a bad deal these units make their 1.5 BTC back if started today, but less than 1 delivered if in march |
