Its not about how many hashrate

Its the $/ghs that counts.

And certainly with such price you will never get it back. I would rather just buy btc.

I agree. Pay 2.5 BTC now to start mining in June with 400 GH/s? It's not likely to make a profit. I estimate that it will only mine 0.63 BTC before the rising difficulty makes it unprofitable to continue.

From their announcement it has the same USB interface as the boards in the Terra Miner IV and the model shows USB A and B on the board.  Until they show more there is no way to tell if the PCIe actually connections to the bus, especially since there are 2 power connectors on the back.

My thought was just just run it standalone into something with cgminer. (except of course they've announced it about 6 months too late)

At least they don't say it will make it's price back in BTC mining like other companies say...

You may not need full computer. Just PDU and some simple computer on the chip kind of board like Raspberry Pi or Beagle. In this way, you have flexibility to throw in more cards. This is more for DIY kind of guys. Output will be ugly, no casing, wires everywhere, etc.
I also like to see stand-alone like TM IV. If price is right, GSX I would be a good choice too. At $1600, it's just too expensive. I think $1000 is right price for it considering extra costs for PDU, controller board like Raspberry Pi, USB hub, and some casing.

The CoinTerra GSX-I will be stillborn. It's 33% more expensive than their TerraMiner-IV and by the time it's delivered the BTC difficulty will exceed 10 billion. One could never recoup the purchase price.
