Things you should be careful with which ICO you invest:
1. Choose the right size projects, focus on value and avoid over-promoted projects
When it comes to the size of an ICO project, it's best in the "golden range", meaning it's not too small or too big. This range has been proven to range from $ 2 million to $ 10 million. Do not forget that ICOs are startups.
2. Analyze the project development team and ensure they are successful
By choosing a team of successful, experienced and well-established business executives, you will increase your chances of success. This is the most important measure, but I put it in second place, simply because of the size risk of the project.
Avoid "dark" projects in the development roadmap
The ICO concept is to create a useful and widely recognized coding currency. This is only possible when investing in an innovative, innovative and high-value service for the user. Waiting for a year to have an alpha version is unacceptable.
Ideally you can feel the service during ICO and may use your token right after the ICO ends.

I fully support the idea that people (investors) need to study the project in detail before investing and if you saw a small mistake or something else, do not rush to invest in this project. Talk to other people, but better skip.

So people should learn to understand ICO projects themselves.
Not all ICO projects can bring you good profits, because many ICO projects have various problems. ,

Ofcourse, investing in ICO is so very risky. You don't know the consequences that will happen wether it will become successful or it will turn to scam.
Better to search and read about the project so that you will not regret at the end.

I think only important thing regarding investing in ico is the hard cap, if the hard cap is very low compared to project's value then investors are at low risk compared to hyped projects.

I think most people should learn to use the GTIHUB website, because the development of most projects can be found through this website, so according to the development of the code, whether to invest in the ICO project can be considered.

can be manipulation, about rating on ico bench , bazaar and bla bla bla
it just point, not so important.
like PXS just got rated 3.6 point, but success altough now going back to ico price
also funfair just got 3.4 point , but with rate right now , it's 3.87x than ico price

which is very risky if the ICO softcap has not been reached. this will make the ICO not run and eventually the developers refund their funds. But there are more scary, when ICO is successful and ultimately ICO Scam.

In fact, you want invest an ICO when you have good vision for that project and observe risky. Take knowledge about that and so on. My advise just take a look top 10 or top 20 on CMC, they are very strong in forward for your investment.

This is practical knowning that not all ICOs would be profitable investing due to uncertainties such as scams and failure to meet the desired market demand. Most of the newly listed tokens are having below ICO prices resulting to loss of profit for the investors. That is also why investing is not easy and simple

Take my advice as a guide to verifying any ICO:
1. On preico, the team must have a contract for automatic transfer of funds with prescribed conditions for early investors - not handles like many do, namely those prescribed in the smart contract - otherwise the collected funds can simply enrich the funders or conditions will change during the play - cases of lots.
2. The contract for preIOO should be part of a large ICO contract - not by different coins - it is not safe in terms of vulnerabilities and withdrawals.
3. The contract for preIOO and then the ICO should be registered lower and upper barrier - if this is not the team does not know what it wants - just a scam.
4. The contract for ICO should be escrow of the funds received as a result of placement - it can be a frieze or multisec with a voting condition. This will give you a guarantee against the expenditure of funds earlier than the team completed the previous stage.
5. In the contract, an unconditional refund should be prescribed in the event that the lower limit of the collected pool is not reached. It is in the contract and not in the white book, if it is not - scum.
6. All contracts must be posted on GithHub, this will enable third-party developers to check the contract for the vulnerability if the team has not taken care and before the ICO has not posted a bounty on the vulnerability.
7. The contract must specify the conditions for the team and for the bounty.
8. The contract must specify the conditions for not traded tokens - with clearly defined deadlines.
I hope that my advice will be useful to you!

It's your money and you should be careful in what you are doing with it.
Not every ICO yield you at current time like they used to.
You should be selective not only with legitimacy but also their profitability.

I used to attend ICOs a lot. But lately I prefer to watch the projects and teams after they get the money. Because it can change a lot.
But if I participaed now, I would like to see MVP, real world usage and benefit for token holders.

There are so many things to lookout before investing in a ICO, You have to Find out everything you can about the development team, Check Community and Media, Check Stage of the project and VC investments and ICO legality issues, Read the whitepaper, are the few of them.

From my point of view Most of ICO are scam. You should be very careful choosing the ICO. Instead of choosing ICO you could invest in top altcoins because the risk factor is very low comparing the ICO investment.

No one can be sure, if you only have not "insider information". To reduce your risk, only one available tool for us is doing enormous research about this project - like idea, team, product etc. So yes, everyone should be careful while investing in ICO's.

Top altcoins investment is secure our investment but ICO investment will make big profit in future. So before we should study well in good projects it will make big success in future so altcoin investors are mostly short term traders but ICO investors are mostly long investors. Peoples are expecting quick profit they only choose the any altcoins so good investors are protect ourselves then invested in ICO.

of course you should be careful if you want to invest with ICO, because the risk is very high. because some ICOs can be successful and not in the market. preferably before you invest in ICO, make sure your intention first to really very sure, by the way you do research and seek information first. it will avoid you in the loss you invest.
