The old miners adage applies, like all ASICs.
Imagine a lime/lemon/orange/etc., squeeze it and then after the juice is all gone, throw it away.

Actually, getting a Z9 today (not in a few weeks time) for only $800 could be a good deal. It's like you bought first batch for $2000 then already mined $1200 from the time of delivery which is a bit more than what most Z9 buyers have already mined.

At $800, there could still be some juice left to squeeze.
