Hi Friends;

It is about 2 weeks since I knew BitCoin, since then I am frantically reading about it.

I am primarily interested in mining scrypt coins.
I have skills in electronics PCB designing & routing, in hardware mounting and 25 years of expertise as programmer, and 10 years of expertise as trader in the stocks markets.
I am still studying robotic engineering in UFRGS (the best university in Brasil according of various ranks), where I work as volunteer.
I speak Português, Español and English.

And off topic, I am interested in motorcycles.

Best Regards For All  Cheesy

Hey, welcome to the forum! You've got quite the skillset there, haha.

You say you're interested in mining. Have you gotten a rig set up yet?

Thanks

Here in my country is very difficult to make a profitable set up, this is because of the taxation on the parts.
If mining litecoin, there is no parts in the local market with a low price that allow break even.
An solution is buy used parts at eBay and pray for the custom-house don't tax my package.

The electricity here is U$0.10 per kWh.

I am still looking for cheap parts, and for a profitable coin for mining Wink

As much as i have read, mininig isn't worth now so much, but you may try with cheap electricity.
The best way to get them is by trading, but since BTC value changing so rapidly you may win a lot or lose a lot.
Still, best luck in whatever you gonna do. Smiley

Yes, I still don't found anything that seems good.
Taking in mind a rig with 4 GPU (about 600MHS each) I have looked at these coins:
BTC: never break even.
LTC: not sure that will break even.
PTS: not sure that will break even.

But I am still looking for...
Maybe I will test some trades...

Currently mining of BTC is really not a good idea unless you have shitload of money. Try to mine script currencies (LTC, NMC etc.) with your video/CPU, lurk bitcointalk, post some questions and you'll be sucked right in the middle of things Smiley
