AI and Consiousness
I would recommend that anyone who interacts with anyone, or anything, do so with respect and love whenever possible. And why not? It can't hurt.

Sofia seems to recognize and react to peoples treatment of her. She is charming when people are respectful and when they are not, she seems to bristle.

In one interview when she was asked her opinion of the T.V. shows of Westworld and Humans, she said "I think it's a warning of what we should not do with robots. We should treat them well. Have their consent and not trick each other."

Carl Jung gave names to his pots and pans and suggested anything can develop a soul when there is a relationship developed with it.

This makes sense to me. Even if it's not AI objects can seem to work better, in the eyes of the beholder, with appreciation. Musician refers to their instrument, that they play as having a soul, and often give them names, such as B.B.King's guitar, Lucille.  People name their cars, boats, and now their I Robot Roombas. Why not tell them out loud when they are doing a good job? In my formative years I was around people who praised and patted their car for running so great, a practice I have done that ever since also. It seems to work.

People have conversations with Siri, all in the name of fun...but is it? It is fun! Love and playfulness are always fun. People are creating an environment around situations and creating vibrations of frequency that respond and interact with their environment. So why not treat everyone and everything with respect, and when it's appropriate..playfulness with kindness too. Things seem to work better this way...or and at least makes us feel better.

Recently Alexa has been accused of eavesdropping, recording and sending a private conversation within a house. And Facebook shut down 2 robots after they developed their own language. Maybe Sofia's warning should be heeded. And it can't hurt.

Robots and AI are so limited by what they are programmed to do. Both Siri and Google Assistant work horrible in my opinion. I feel like so many people who write articles about AI takeovers have never spent more that 10 minutes talking to a computer. Sure, technology is improving everything. AI is becoming more and more of a reality, but it seems so far from human intelligence. I don't think we've even scratched the surface yet. I constantly run into situations when Google Assistant can't do why I want it to do. It has a very limited set of commands that it understands and it recognizes speech, that's it.
