See Litecoin announcement here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=47417.0We wanted to be fair so there are 4 options that are 6 hours apart spanning the 24 hours in a day. Vote for the the time most convenient to you. Note: the options are in GMT times. So make sure you convert it to your timezone. For example, US pacific time is GMT -7, so the first option is actually 2am PDT. And US eastern time is GMT -4, so the first option is actually 5am EDT.

I'm really hoping that it's not going to be 3 in the morning... But no doubt it will be due to the number of non-UK users

I hope we get a second round to choose between the 2 most voted options. It'd be sad to end up launching at 3am just because GMT voters got spread over 3 day times.

If there's a close tie between the last 2 options. Would it make sense to launch halfway between them?

If there's a close tie between the last 2 options. Would it make sense to launch halfway between them? Not as much as averaging over the 4 options (weighted by number of votes). The thing is, probably most of those who voted 9am or 3pm would have picked 9am if the only option were 3am vs 9pm.

No, in such cases you usually eliminate the last option, then you do the poll again and repeat until you have a winner

No, in such cases you usually eliminate the last option, then you do the poll again and repeat until you have a winner You can change your pick. So I've asked people who currently are picking one of the 2 losers to change their pick to which of the 2 winning options they prefer.

You can change your pick. It doesn't seem so... or the "change your vote" button is damn well hidden

where is the change vote button (In hindsight I would rather launch my miners and deal with whatever bugs come up in what for me is early evening rather than at 4am...)

If there's a close tie between the last 2 options. Would it make sense to launch halfway between them? that would be changing the rules of the vote halfway. Not fair. It is also very possible that the average would be very inconvenient for people who voted for the nearest time slot. For instance 1h more or less can make the difference between being at home and being at work.

Quick question, when the launch does happen, will we need to do any config changes in order to mine? Apart from setting testnet=0 of course

For instance 1h more or less can make the difference between being at home and being at work. It's not fair already. A weighted average between the 2 would be a good compromise, as it's going to be inconvienient for the everyone that didn't get the one they wanted regardless.
