Blockchain Technology is amazing, it can be applied in a lot of services and there are some companies, especially Bitfury which works on it. For example blockchain technologies are useful in land titling as an extra layer of protection, another example which is just an idea of our forum member is to use blockchain to prevent falsification of golds and a lot.

Blockchain just like any other tech is going to be an enabler of human life. It can be applied in many industries at the moment the best case scenario is financial industry where Bitcoin is an example of such blockchain technology application. One such feature is the anonymity of developers which I feel today remains an issue I am no techie person but learning the "soft core of the technology and its potential".
