It happens like that sometimes, usually when there is a bump in the price of bitcoin the altcoins need a while to regulate and follow the price of bitcoin and if these price increase happen fast then that means that the altcoins do not get ample time to follow it so they just stay at their prices. Although most of the altcocins are dependent on the price of bitcoin, sometimes they don't follow it

If we consider that this year people just shifted their money from altcoins to Bitcoin and then back from Bitcoin to altcoins, then of course there will be no growth, it's just rocking the boat.

I think there is a direct link between the value of bitcoin and the value of altcoin. But in any case, this does not negate the fact that we still can not predict the course and behavior of any cryptocurrency with 100% accuracy.

We now have altcoins doing 100x while there are no price changes in bitcoin
