Panicking is not healthy for your investment because it can cause you a big loss if your emotion takes your decision. We know that good altcoins will recover as soon as we enter in a bull market again so technically nothing to worry about in long term, lets trust good coins.

You are right on that, that bitcoin and altcoins are not dependent on each other. Now I see that BTC increase its value while ETH decreases.

For traders like me, it is not good when BTC increases while your portfolio is all turning reds. (for my own opinion only)

In order to earn profit in this technology make it sure not to panic when it comes to trading or selling coin because it can ruined your decision and comes to regrets at the end, be calm and not to emotional when you're involve here better to wait for the percect time.

I was not worried and panicked at all, even I had long observed it was like that happened. But most of the alts will follow the movement of bitcoin prices even though they have an unequal percentage, at least we will know when the alts will pump or dump.

Do not panic in that bitcoin. That's normal, so is the crypto, the market lows the call jan. so the beginners just calm down and nothing happens in panic panic.

panic will only hurt yourself because panic will only make the mind more chaotic. always relaxed if there is a market change, a newbie is usually easy to panic if you don't know about market changes. this is the risk if we invest in the crypto world.

I also don't understand why those altcoins are not flying up high together with bitcoin. Maybe because some are in FOMO with btc going to the moon and trading their altcoin to BTC. We waited so long for bitcoin to go up a price and it takes so much time before it surpasses $8000 so I understand why most altcoins are in red. Maybe it is part of altcoin corrections for a healthy price sooner or later. Let us just wait and be patience.

I think the problem with most altcoins is because their project development is slow, poor or nonexistent
But a good altcoin project will definitely increase in value as time pass by and all investments would be worth if you make your own research and act swiftly

To add i fully agree with most of the comments on this topic and in my opinion panico only hinders to see what really matters, in this case the need to make good choices and good projects. Yet many wonder why the altcoins do not take off like Bitcoin, but the answer is obvious, there is a gigantic dependence on Bitcoin's pioneering "spirit".

I do not think it's good when the altcoins do not depend on the growth of BTC or Eth. I like to keep funds in altcoins and know that with the growth of BTC or Eth my altcoins will also grow proportionally. If altcoins will live their lives this may be fine, but I'm not sure.

For now altcoins depends on bitcoin, any time bitcoin is making a major increase in price, altcoin suffers that is to show you the dominance of btc in the market, I think unless exchanges that will make each coin dependent exist more then i don't think that would stop any time soon

You should never panic where investment is concerned and don't let emotion take over your decisions. You need to keep a cool head when analysing the direction of the market and yes sometimes we need to make a snap decision but do those in a calm way and you will make the least poor decisions.

This is of course very good right advice. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to keep yourself in hand and not to go on about emotions.

Some altcoins increases as well, but it is only the strong coins that increases, eth increases too when bitcoin is increasing but normally when bitcoin increases after a while, altcoin will follow
