These days bitcoin price is increasing. Now btc price is around 8400$. But altcoin prices are not increasing. Is not altcoin price depend on the btc price?
We cant feel it directly, it takes time for that and we all notice that our market is moving.  We've been only focus on btc price as the highlights of crypto market and we have neglect altcoins trend.  Truly isn't that huge impact into altcoins today but later on,  we all have noticed it.
in any case, the correlation of the Bitcoin price to the entire crypto currency exists. Even today, you can see that in the last 2 weeks Bitcoin has risen by 6%. At the same time, some coins showed a very positive rise from the bottom, while demonstrating a 15 or 25% increase.

I think we are experiencing a selective bullish,  which only carries a few coins. I believe if the pump continues and BTC can get to over $10000, the growth would spread to other currencies.

Anyone who has the altcoin in their portfolio knows that when Bitcoin prices drop, the rest of the money market will slip sharply. Similarly, when Bitcoin grows back, the altcoin tends to perform better.

XRP is an example. However, the success of the ripple on the market is thought to be unrelated to its advancements behind the scenes, and it is thought that the reason is largely due to Bitcoin's market dominance.

XRP was one of the worst performers in the electronic money market this year, losing about 70% of its value in the first quarter. At the same time, Bitcoin is also among those who lose more than 50% of their value, making the total e-money market cap decline

It is true that the price of Bitcoin has being experiencing an upward surge but the altcoins remain sluggish. The price of altcoins are influenced by the price of Bitcoin but not completely dependent on it. While bitcoin has been rising there are a few altcoins that have also experienced the upsurge.

In most cases, the altcoins track bitcoin in terms of price. A big spike to the upside or downside in bitcoin usually means a big spike or downward move for the altcoins, too. However, from what I've noticed, when BTC is unusually strong, then no matter which way you look at it, the alts are in for a rough time.

no, that is a very common mistake that people make mainly because during bitcoin drops all the altcoins without any hesitations drop too. but the thing is the relationship is not there! the altcoins also drop when bitcoin rises so you can't really make up any rules for that.

this is why i always suggest that newcomers first spend a lot of time analyzing the history of at least 2 years before starting to jump in the market and invest.
you first need to know these patterns and relationships so that you can make better decisions. for example knowing altcoins will drop during bitcoin rises you sell your altcoins as soon as you see bitcoin rally starting up to prevent your loss.

Very much agree it's need proper time in knowing the pattern of its movement, relationships between BTC and altcoin need to be observed properly before jumping into conclusions as a neophyte it's take time before participating the trading market its required more expertise and exposure in order to gain more profits not losses.

Probably for the altcoins when bitcoin finally finds the up trend in the short term and able to find a good support to hold on for those moment while giving some upper and sideways consolidation. At this time, altcoins are surely bound to pick up pretty fast which could result in a bull market for the alts, but at the same time, I would be very careful in picking profit fast from altcoins because as soon as the bear trend starts, it is normal to see the altcoins taking the hit once again.

Bitcoin and altcoins are trading in indirect proportional which is possible only when the money flow is coming out and entering into another. When money flow is happening to both of them then we can see  direct proportional movements. It is time to hold altcoins and to buy more bitcoins.

The whole altcoin thing depends on the price of Bitcoin. As the bitcoin goes up, the entire altcoin will go down. That rule. As altcoin increases, the bitcoin price will not increase. Because they are moving money from bitcoin to altcoin

Usually, altcoins grow when bitcoin's price is stable. So no surprise almost all of them are red nowadays.

I think the price of the altcoin is still dependent on Bitcoin prices, but the market trend has changed completely in July, when Bitcoin prices increase, the price of altcoin will also increase. But now Bitcoin prices are rising and altcoin prices are fall
which I see both are still not up and same in growth and now you better hold your altcoin until it stabilizes and can be beneficial again because it was a few months ago Bitcoin price has not come back and made altcoin price decreased following the movement

Altcoins will have its own time. Usually, when bitcoin price goes up, the altcoins would follow suit afterwards when bitcoin is in a consolidation because the attention of the traders would be in altcoins then since bitcoin is not moving that much. You can have patience and wait for a while. You can accumulate some altcoins when it is cheaper because sooner or later, it would increase and its percentage increase would be higher than bitcoin especially if the coin has good fundamentals.

as far as I know the altcoin price depends on the bitcoin price. but the altcoin price is not entirely dependent on bitcoin prices. because the price is looking at all the situations and conditions that have occurred in the environment. if the bitcoin enthusiasts are plenty and bitcoin is a bit, then auto bitcoin and altcoin prices are different

There is no such relationship between Bitcoin and altcoins with regards to the price increase in both parties, sometimes other altcoins, not performing well in the market as well as Bitcoin too, but mostly only those top listed coins apparently follow the movement of Bitcoin, the rest is the depending on the demand in the market.

but when the bitcoin price is stable precisely altcoin prices are also stable. sometimes the price of ethereum follows the bitcoin price, if the bitcoin price falls, the altcoin price falls, if the bitcoin price is stable the altcoin price falls, and if the bitcoin price increases the altcoin price increases, but for a long time

The situation of the market depends on the condition of the bitcoin. Bitcoin has increased the market, bitcoin has fallen, the market has fallen.

Your thought is perfectly matched in all the scenario But Bitcoin is depends on the demand of Bitcoin only so altcoins price is not impact of Bitcoin. But all the time peoples are concentrate in Bitcoin only so once it will down all the investors are drop the investment. It is the real reason of crypto price.

yes, there are so many people who have made bitcoin a benchmark for the ups and downs of other altcoin prices, sometimes at the same time when bitcoin increases will be followed by other altcoins, but that is uncertain, because bitcoin and other altcoins for me are created and created by itself, so we can not make bitcoin as a benchmark for the rise and fall of other altcoin prices.

the prices for altoins are very much dependent on Bitcoin! I think the situation will be the same as last year. Bitcoin will reach its peak and altcoins will go into growth
