I know it's probably been asked (X number of times) but I cannot find the relevant thread. Is there a way to get the balance of a certain local address (by address), other than to sum the listunspent command?

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Ok - so for transactions that return change - BitcoinQT auto-generates a new address to receive the change, but the address is not populated onto the wallet list and neither is it displayed through listreceivedbyaddress - although it is listed in listunspent (without arguments). Is there any way around this?
