workPAY will enable optionality in your payouts (complete control for you, the employee). One important note is we are evaluating stable (crypto) coin's for actual payments as while some of us might be willing to roll with the volatility we believe that for any payments solution to go mainstream the volatility (and high fees) need to be removed from the equation.

We are a utility token.

We neither encourage nor discourage the listing of our tokens on exchanges.

This is very interesting but it is important to check government policies regarding payroll payout.

Thanks for the interest in our project! You're right, there are lots of regulations around payroll, payments, and lending (and they're different depending on the jurisdiction).

Our core team has spent the last decade working in the space so brings a lot of experience to the table and our initial products won't replace payroll, rather compliment them, and we'll be working with partners before ultimately building our own solutions.

Please check out our road-map and payment product page to learn more: www.workchain.io/workpay

A real use case for the #blockchain - this project has the makings to become a real thing, I'm going to start following this project closer!

Indeed. There could be quite a few challenges with implementation as well.

This is interesting, making the payroll automated and integrated with Blockchain technology.
Thanks to the project that every employee will get their payment right in time.

Hi banaynay,

Thanks for your post!

We'd love to hear which challenges you think there will be with implementation.

We've spent a lot of time building the right team, partners, and product/go-to-market design to reduce these and build a viable way to market.

Of course though, like all things worth doing, it won't be 'easy' Wink

Thanks for jumping in!

KYC (all geos) and Accredited Investors (U.S./Canada) for example will be required to participate in any private sales. We haven't announced any public sale yet.

What will be your main revenue stream?

Great Question!

At the core of what we're building is our Protocol - https://workchain.io/whitepaper/protocol

TL:DR

The three primary participants in our ecosystem that will use our protocol are:
 - Employes
 - Validators
 - Fund Providors (Generally Employers)

Each requires our token (https://workchain.io/whitepaper/watttoken) as a 'stake' in order to use and perform work on the platform.

As our platform is connecting all parties, we will charge a nominal transaction fee on specific actions where additional fees are warranted. For example for connecting an employee with a pay-day advance loan, as a small fee within the interest %.

Hi friend,
I really appreciate the concept you made, and it's a good idea and can be realized into something that
many  people are interested in,which I ask what your future plans are if your project is successful?
and I will support your project to success.
