Will i be able to store your tokens on my ledger nano s hardware wallet?

Our token is ERC20 standard - https://workchain.io/whitepaper/watttoken

Great! I have a hardware wallet to and ERC20 goes on those, however, it's not the easiest procedure. There are some tutorials online but haven't tried any of them. Maybe someone knows more about this.

You have to use myetherwallet in the combination with ledger nano s,to be able to access your tokens once on ledger,or in order to send them there.

How come you decided to go with erc20,i thought erc223 slowly becoming standard,or it doesnt bring any visible advantages yet?

Hi Gwiazdooka,

Thanks for the interest in our project, and great question Smiley

We would go ahead of our time if we implemented ERC223 token at the moment.

We have been following it since it was proposed and developments since. While we appreciate what it's trying to accomplish - As of today, it's still not standard or has the adoption required for our project.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

So the objective is to have a daily payout instead of monthly or bi-monthly? There is also an advantage of having less paydays as it forces the receiver to manage the financials properly. If people tend to spend their money fast it might even be harder for them to save daily payouts if a big payment needs to be done for anything important.

It all just comes down to budget management.People will adapt to it pretty fast.I had to switch from monthly to weekly and vice versa and it is not painful.

Wise decision as adoption is most important nowadays for projects like Workchain to succeed.

WorkChain.io is an interesting project! The project mentions the payment problem of the day, it is very meaningful in the real world. In my opinion, what should the project do to have a large number of partners and from there, gradually the project will become more popular?

We're building things in such a way so that individuals can access / gain benefits from WorkChain.io even if their employers aren't there!

It's much simpler of course if the Employer is directly a participant on the protocol, but through partners/integrations we're confident we'll also be able to go employee-first/only Smiley

awesome idea but its gonna take a loooong time to get used in real life. People still don't buy their groceries in bitcoin, pay their rent in bitcoin, pay their mortgages in bitcoin, and so on. As soon as cryptos are used more instead of bought to make money, this project will be on the first row. This is not a question of if, it's a question of when

Thanks for the comment!

We also don't believe that people will use BitCoin to buy their groceries or pay for rent, potentially ever. Check out what we wrote about this recently here:
