Network is now over 1.6 Gh/s !!

you can buy aur here https://www.cryptorush.in/index.php?p=trading&m=AUR&b=BTC

Do you wanna come late ?

Isnt it strange coin with 20 pages of topic, 2 weekss old has steady price up and 1.6Gh/s network?

So far Auroracoin shows nice trading volume at "Cryptorush.in" and increased mining difficulty as well

If the claims reported are valid (there are indications not all of them are), then AuroraCoin is already a huge success in terms of adoption by a large community... 1.7% is significant. Actually it's HUGE!

Now add to that a network effect in the coming months and we might be looking at something incredible.

I just hope people are using the android app so people can use AUR in their daily lives.

If adoption goes above 5%, my next holiday destination is booked.

I thought the price would crash, but it seems to be holding up as it's currently $ 11.08. That's not a bad price considering a flood of new coins has just hit the market. Who can say if the price will go up or down now.

Aye, the airdrop looks to be going MUCH better than I ever imagined. I was prepared to say anything better than a 90% drop in price should be considered a success (in my honest opinion), since it's only natural to expect a lot of selling pressure with the new supply. As for the notion that it was a scam.... next time folks, wait until you have actual evidence to declare positively that something is a scam. It's one thing to be reasonably suspicious (such as of the copy-cat nation-coins), another thing to claim to "know" what you don't...

Why would I want to fund the Iceland economy?

Why would I want to be involved in a national scheme to bring funds into Iceland?

So they give these coins to the people of Iceland pump the price then all sell reaping in huge amounts of money into their economy.

How's is this not being discussed?

It's part of the pump teams strategy. They focus on making AUR look as good as possible of an investment.

Only a fool would put any money into this worthless coin.

It's now at $ 4.95, and to think it peaked at about $ 90

It's holding up surprisingly well! The haters and the pessimists (I'll admit to being a bit of the latter) have egg all over their faces. Looks like Auroracoin is going to join the ranks of the top-tier Altcoins on a non-tentative basis soon. (Given that BCX has been wrong about everything else, I'm getting more skeptical of his claims that he can somehow destroy it.)

When it slid below peercoin I thought it was finished, but it bounced back!

So much for my pessimism.

Good time to buy them while they are low i guess? were they really at $90?
It will be interesting to see how this currency works out, it can only work if the people that adopt it in iceland embrace it and treat it as a valuable currency and start trading with it.
