Why Bitcoin Climbing Stable while most other Altcoins get RED? Bitcoin climbed from $6300 to about $7300, then $7800 and passed $8500. It is so stable! At the same time, most altcoins get Dump. NEO, ETH, XRP...
What is the highest BTC price in this wave? I guess around $9500.

I think this the matter of trend now. As people are seeing that the price is going to increase with the bull run, So, more and more people are getting involved again to bitcoin. As a result, the price may $12000+. What do you think?

From what I'm hearing it's because the money is in Bitcoin right now, so people are taking it out of their alts. But once they have enough, the alt market will become more attractive and then you will see things getting better there. So patients. I hope.

I even see otherwise, for now, Bitcoin into a coin that is so stable and very capable to be reliable in the future with the presence of this development. so Bitcoin becomes a coin that is very capable to be relied upon. while Altcoin is still increasing and decreasing erratically.

I heard (or read) from some news that I can't remember when or where I heard or read from that many companies are investing millions of dollars in the cryptomarket, though they didn't specify which altcoin and now that bitcoin rose from that price, I guess they did invest in bitcoin after all, and I might guess that some investors did care to invest there next too so yeah, its only my theory though so I'm not really sure, hope I helped.

Altcoin red because many trader sell their altcoin for BTC, they did it because many good news for Bitcoin, like Bitcoin ETF. My prediction after Bitcoin bull run, others altcoin also will follow it. The crypto market likely back to 2017, when BTC going up and altcoin will going down .

It caused by ETF application that will be announced by SEC in september and you should try to read this article and it looks interesting in my opinion https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-holds-recent-gains-amid-a-checkered-market-outlookThose altcoin holders are converting their altcoin to the bitcoin.

I think because some of the altcoins are not defending on the bitcoin and some of the altcoins defending on bitcoin. But some of the altcoins are doing like dramas to make the people panic in the market. Then they will stop the red and going up stable after the people panic sell and many will get bait and buy again on higher value.

The reason is people are chasing the bitcoin pump and once bitcoin prices is stable, altcoins will begin to rise again. Give it some time and as long as you're holding good altcoins, there's no reason it won't rise in price.

Everyone is more confident in the rise of bitcoin because it is more profitable. ethereum exchanged bitcoin and bitcoin increased. you can see the benefits.

i think it is natural to see some alternative coin drop when bitcoin price are rising, people are jump from alt to bitcoin, but in uncertain time it will time for alternative coin to rising surprisingly, so be patient and hold tight.

The same question came to my mind too. When I am feeling good to see bitcoin at above 8200 USD at the same time I feel pain by seeing altcoin red sign.Maybe Altcoin needs a big news? I don't know here.
Bitcoin can surpass 10K USD this time, about two months ago bitcoin went to 9900 USD but that time bitcoin couldn't make 10K , let's see what happen in this wave.

It will take approximately a month or two to recover altcoins. Be patience and hold your altcoins. It just a matter of time.

I guess this is the most common thing traders do after seeing a BTC pump from a very long dump. They tend to sell some of their altcoins to have BTC on hand, and then sell it at the right time to buy back their altcoins. Also, I think in situations like this, altcoins's dollar value will stabilize (meaning its BTC price will go down) and then after some time, its BTC price will start to follow the uptrend.

Bitcoin is know to masses. Even the people who know nothing about crypto has heard about bitcoin. Hedge funds and similar mutual investing funds too categorize bitcoin as an investment but not other cryptos.

This is a question that has crossed through my mind too, and I have been meaning to ask. I have always though that Bitcoin has an indirect effect that it plays on the other coin, and that an increase in its price might lead to a relative increase in the price of altcoins. Does the recent trend show that my theory is wrong?

I think at that time many peoples are selling alt coins to buy Bitcoin. Because of that altcoins prices are going down. But after stabilizing the BTC all good coins up to the moon.

One possible explanation could be that a lot of altcoin traders who came in during the bull market and which are heavily under water see this surge in BTC price as a good spot to save at least a bit of their funds and decide to exit the alt market through BTC. It's obviously not the best idea, but if someone is 70% down, I can see them panic-selling when they are 15% up from their position.

Looks like it will not stop at 9500 as well because the signs are extremely bullish as dominancy is increasing and people have started selling their alts for btc this will create fomo and will bring even more bulls for btc.

People are very exposed to the news background, so the capitalization is poured from altcoins to bitcoin. Although not all Altas are in the dump, there are rare exceptions.
