My account : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=325780 is hacked.

Only time I used Bitcoin address in my profile was while joining IOS Signature Campaign. However, the person who hacked my account deleted every post where my address was listed. But my address is still present in IOS Signature Campaign Spreadsheet, here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nrypZvbxn94FIi3gIbD2nRq7uIuLTpcdG_MDTt8ENA0/edit?usp=sharing

Here is the signature from same address:
Quote
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
This is to verify that address belongs to H0USE and account is hacked as on 26th July 2018
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNATURE-----
Version: Bitcoin-qt (1.0)
Address: 1JoU8bEM1TauHn11TQCDH3PdRnoMrAuyvK

Hz25mC7V1GNSJNrOAbnmLmsrbeXyk18QOp8Opc2kuZM9OW/kMDAdmA6X6pT3JzeDVZcbIhvDxHdx0Ga9Lb7ePSE=
-----END BITCOIN SIGNATURE-----

Now I want to know can I recover account using the above proof? If yes, I will send email to Cyrus. If not, suggest me what should I do.

Can't the spreadsheet just be edited? Is there a dated archive of it somewhere that could be used to verify it hasn't? Alternative means of proof should be accepted or at least considered, but even if you had several signed messages from a bitcoin address the likelihood of you getting your account back right now is very slim. People have been waiting going on a year to get their own accounts back even with valid signed messages. Do you have any other addresses posted anywhere like ethereum etc?

Edit. The address is still listed on google. Admins can see deleted posts so yes, it should be fine. The above still apllies though.

People have been waiting going on a year to get their own accounts back even with valid signed messages. Do you have any other addresses posted anywhere like ethereum etc?

Sheets can be easily edited but just by the owner of sheet and I am not the owner so it is impossible for me to edit it. Moreover, I received 4 weeks pay 0.001 BTC per week which could be easily tracked on blockchain and I still have 0.004 BTC present on the address.

About alternative means, yes I have joined two altcoin campaigns namely Remme and Envion. My ETH address is available in the Signature sheet of both the campaigns,I can prove ownership of that address. Since mprep has created strict policy regarding posting in alt section, almost all the campaigns collect data via forms so I haven't posted my ETH address anywhere in thread.

If Signed Message is the only way to confirm identity then why admins take too much time to recover accounts? I am damn sure, I didn't click any phishing page or anything. My account got hacked has nothing to do with my negligence. It is due to loophole in forum security I guess. So if I am not the reason of mistake here then why I should suffer. I want my account back and I am ready to prove anything. Please guide me how to do that and what is fastest mode.

PS: Aren't you the Global mod? Can't you help in recovery process or it could only by done by Theymos and Cyrus?

Yes, but only admins can restore accounts so just PM theymos and cyrus about it with all the details. Make sure to state the posts have been deleted, but maybe also include an archive from google  as evidence which may also help. Admins can see/restore deleted posts so that should be enough, but whether they'll get around to doing it is another matter. Good luck

Addresses in your profile wont be accepted as they can just be changed at anytime and the hacker could have done so. If you had a archived one that was dated, maybe it could be used, but just send them proof from google and mention that your posts were deleted and give links to where they were at as they can restore them.

This is what I sent to him, hope he would reply:

Hello Cyrus,
My account H0USE got hacked. Profile URL: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=325780

Quote
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
My account H0USE has been hacked. Please reset the email to --hidden--. The current date is 26th July 2018.

-----END BITCOIN SIGNATURE-----

The person who hacked account deleted all the posts where my address was listed, moreover he removed address from my profile. But address is still listed on Google archive. Here is the Cache:
https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:AlWpMOMSlqkJ:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php%3Faction%3Dprofile%3Bu%3D325780+&cd=3&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=in

Also hilariousandco told me that admins can see deleted posts. Please check the post I posted in IOS Signature Campaign: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3170747.0 around 5-8th April, 2018 which is now deleted by hacker.

Also, address is listed in IOS Signature Spreadsheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nrypZvbxn94FIi3gIbD2nRq7uIuLTpcdG_MDTt8ENA0/edit?usp=sharing

Please recover my account. If needed I can provide more details.
Here is the thread I created for help and all details are listed here too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4749352.new#new

Hoping for quick reply.
Best Regards.

Why don't you lock your account until it get restore to you from the admins? Because the account recovery will take too long, even after you provided all the evidences.

You can do that by yourself from the mail you received when the hacker changes the email address to new one,so he can't able to use it for any bounties or scam attempts. Smiley

Problem is that I use lots of email accounts and don't remember which one I used to signup on Bitcointalk forum. I searched in 5-6 emails but couldn't find the email from forum both in Primary and Spam folder.

yes google still has it on webcache [CLOSED] IOS - Signature & Avatar Campaign | Up to $150/week ...
just in case googlecache gets updated or removed, I also saved that webcache on archive.is
the webcache itself is dated July 15, 2018 http://archive.is/L1XtX#selection-1875.0-1875.5
@OP I hope all those above can help your account recovery process, best luck to you Cool
