Stop the Hate on this Forum, it Depreciates BTC

Being involved is not the same as being committed. It's like bacon and eggs; the chicken is involved, but the pig is committed.

Some self examination and maturity is really needed here, as well as moderation to enforce politeness and respect.

Members come to the forums to learn and ultimatley  increase their participation in the btc economy.  To the extent that more goods and services become available and people are aware of the possibilities, demand for btc grows and its value per dollar increases.  This should be obvious.

Everyone should be welcomed and encouraged at the forum unless they DO HARM to another.  Vetting has its proper place, but what happens here is not vetting; its hazing.  Abuse, hate, paranoia, attacks and an effort to drive a forum member into the dirt and discourage everybody from doing business in BTC with that member.

There is an almost pathalogical hate coming from a number of forum members who post frequently.  Just look at the responses to our last post for proof.   Hate was directed at us from foolish people who confuse opening their account with 100 btc as tantamount to GIVING US 100 btc and another ignorant, green  person who has no clue how trades are settled and thinks trading companies keep precious metals in vaults Smiley

In real life normal people would not dare go up to somebody and make the nasty remarks we ( FNIB ) always get on this forum from strangers who dont know a damn thing about our company or our industry.

These naysayers think they are smart by doing a WHOIS or other snooping in an attempt to find dirt, then post the results on the forum as if exposing some criminal plot.  Cut the B.S.  Enough.

Could it be thay these hecklers are wimps in person and the Internet is the only place they can go to act like tough guys without having the glasses smacked off their nerdy little faces and pencil necks?

We  www.fnib.co   are  the first forex company to accept BTC.  If you cant give us any respect for this, or at least the courtesy that ANY human being deserves, what does that say about bitcoin proponents active on this forum?

Check your attitude and clean up these boards.  The fact that you are in a shitty mood, cant get laid or just got up on the wrong side of the bed does not give you a license to scandalize somebody's name.

It's too late for us.  Go to bitcoin.org.uk if you want civility.

Yeah, no posts.

OP - your sentiment is understandable. I agree that a large amount of the comments on these forums are immature and spiteful.

However, I do think it's "healthy" for there to be a higher than normal paranoia about scams and fraud. Forum members who spent hours digging up dirt are sometimes wrong or misguided, but it provides a valuable service in an ecosystem which is new, fragile, and vulnerable to the untrustworthy.

The sometimes excessive interrogation is a form of inoculation. It will fade over the long term, but for now at least I'm glad there are people who want to "out" others - even if they're being immature and vitriolic.

But there's no reason for people to be unprofessional and rude. A man with a solid argument need not resort to the behavior of a child.

With that said, be careful when pointing fingers. Some of the statements in your post amount to little more than name calling.

Here's the points you need to address:
-Why must people use the 100BTC trading accounts rather than your practice accounts for testing? They should be programmed in exactly the same way.
-Were the photographs of your premises altered in any way? There are some strange discrepancies in them. Maybe you didn't have renovation completed when you took the pictures and you just pasted your logo in there. Do you actually even need an office like that for an internet business that was just incorporated in July? I really doubt a business of this type needs a significant number of people to operate.
-For that matter, why would a company able to lease/purchase an office of that size resort to placing multiple banner ads for alternative e-currencies on their front page? Even BitCoinTalk doesn't have horribly intrusive ads, and I'm pretty sure there's way more traffic here.
-Why did you register your domain in the way you did? We're getting tired of seeing Nassau over and over. Your mailbox business is far more public than this.
-Why are all your blog articles uncredited copy/pastes off other sites?
-Your Facebook page states that you were founded in 2009, but it looks like your incorporation is July 18, 2011. Why?

All the name-calling you can dish out won't address these points. Attack the arguments, not the people making them. Of course, you're free not to respond. But in the words of Linoge from Storm of the Century, "Give me what I want and I'll go away."

the epic amount of trolling on this forum used to annoy me then i decided- why let it? if people have such strong opinions that they argue on a forum i feel sorry for them.... when i post i usually don't read the replies if i'm not asking a question since there's nothing worth arguing about or debating.

I posted this in the other thread, but I might as well post it here too.  Based on the list of other tenants shown in the photos, that's the Axa building in Aucklund.  While it's in the legal precinct and has some pretty prestigious tenants, parts of the building are rented out as "instant offices".

Apparently they don't change the flowers in the lobby of the serviced offices in the Axa building, either.

Listen please.  ParrotyBit and the rest, come down out of the clouds and stop acting like some kind of Grand Inquisition and universal police force protecting the innocent btc public.  The fault finding here is unbearable.   Stop all the bullshit.   If you dont like our company, dont beleive in it, fine,  then move on to the next post.

Thanks for the custom title idea, my only regret is that it isn't in red.

Open an account and trade, then comment, or shut up because youre not qualified to talk about our firm.  You dont know a damn thing about FX and all the remarks about copied blog posts and the Axa bldg renting out instant offices in Auckland are just off topic.

Moderator:  The culture here needs to change asap or many businesses will be turned off from btc.

FNIB does not have man hours to police this forum and respond to all the snotty liittle slights probably coming from the suburban  bedrooms of young adults living with their parents who seem to have unlimted hours to spend surfing this forum

Moderator:  If we cant post in peace without whithering attacks and cross examination from self appointed high commsissioners, then we quit.

Wow...what a business this must be.

Some self examination and maturity is really needed here, as well as moderation to enforce politeness and respect.

Telling your potential clients to shut up and that they don't know a damn thing about FX...then telling moderators that the culture here needs to change LOL

Telling your potential clients that you don't have the man hours to respond to their concerns, then the name calling...I don't think I even need to go further...yet, you ask the moderators to grant the ability to post in peace without attacks...

You sir, need to get a grip.

I understand the desire to avoid this type of interaction, but as a public relations professional it is my job to handle just this type of problem.  Of course my potential client is in the right here, they just need assistance in explaining it to such a hostile audience.

FNIB is in innovator in the telecommunications and telecommuting industries.  FNIB: The world is our office!

This really doesn't look very high-tech to me....

Do you need a lit up piece of fruit to convince you of the skill of the innovators within?

It's just a building, the magic is inside.

Please consider watching this video, as an explanation of how the individual genius of an innovative creator can be unfairly abused by a skeptical public:

The funniest thing is that if he hadn't got all hostile when people pointed out that the blog content had been ripped off from elsewhere, people probably wouldn't have dug too deep.  It's rarely a good idea to respond with hostility rather than explanations.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

Full Disclosure: I stopped reading at post 16 to comment on this post. Sorry for not reading further to see if my point(s)'s addressed but here I go.

YOU GOT TO BE MOTHER FUCKIN' KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You did not address a single question, all of which having a degree of importance. But you do take time to point the finger at us, like it's all our fault.

I can believe you wrote that if we put money in your account, then we'll have a right to ask questions and you will address them. LOOK, YOU MF ASSHOLE, it's the other way around.

I've stated this before, and will state it again now. It takes a hell of lot to get me riled. Please forgive me, all, for my use of colorful metaphors.

Now on back to reading the rest of this thread. (BTW, If I have errored with this post, I will PM the OP and apologize)

One more thing: I'm so pissed, that I'm not even going to proofread this post.

No business will ever have a positive outcome, with a negative attitude towards it's customers.

How can one expect a business to thrive when their OP consists of such derogatory outbursts to people are aren't even customers yet ?

Well I have fully analyzed the situation and know exactly how to refute all of these false allegations, but as I have yet to receive a contract offer for my services I am afraid I will have to cease interaction with the public at this point.

From the Bitcoin7.com - Brand new exchange market! thread, Mr. FNIB said (under another nick?):

When I clicked on the url it only lead me to announcement page.
Was it just me...?

In exchange of my disappointment I will post the site I liked personally!
www.firstnationalib.com

Has anyone heard of this site? I searched for some info and figure out that it is a company in New Zealand handling fx, gold and bitcoin. I am curious, so if anyone know about the site, please let me know!

It's amazing that the owner of the company, posts in another forum thread...asking about his own business...as if he never knew about it.

In reference to the OP...
Some self examination and maturity is really needed here, as well as moderation to enforce politeness and respect.
Yes. I sincerely agree. It is a terrible disgrace to the good name of bitcoin that we have rampant, hateful, immature, greedy scammers on this forum and that the moderators are not enforcing some common human decency, nor protecting the newbies and gullible victims.

Cut the B.S.  Enough. Could it be thay these hecklers are wimps in person and the Internet is the only place they can go to act like tough guys without having the glasses smacked off their nerdy little faces and pencil necks? Check your attitude and clean up these boards.  The fact that you are in a shitty mood, cant get laid or just got up on the wrong side of the bed does not give you a license to scandalize somebody's name.
How immature, impolite, and disrespectful. Please see previous quote. Oh, that was yours!

EDIT: This post was a bit snarky toward Theymos, who I thought was censoring us. That is not the case, as he clarified to me. I'll keep the above for posterity. So, carry on lynch mob carry on...

Posting to say that all the universal police and inquisitors bullshit is epic useless.

Once more, that forum remind me the market forum of EVE Online, where the corporations asked for investment and such (and 99% of them were scam).

Multiple time they tried to defend from scams by creating a police, by having AUDITORS (ah i laughed so much at the auditors), by having collaterals etc etc... Guess what? Everything ALWAYS failed and the scam continued without problems, scamming more and more every time.

And the same happens here. You self entitled paladins of the bitcoin universe are u-s-e-l-e-s-s.

I'm not saying that every bitcoin thing is a scam of course, but remember to pay attention, after all we are dealing with money, so keep your eyes open.
