I wouldn't count it as a loss, since bitcoin is volatile, you could never predict when the price will rise up again, though you just jumped in to something you don't know, it is a good thing that you are asking the community for help, rather than watching the news or believing in hearsays that people say about bitcoin bitcoin, what you should do is to hold your bitcoins for now, do not sell them off just yet, there is a reason why a lot of bitcoiners are holding now, one of them is once the price rises, it really rises more than double your investment at some point, also a suggestion, since you already had a bad entry, study the market and make a good exit, you could at least exit breaking even or gaining profit, but do not exit when you losing, since you are new, that will be a great experience for you.

Hi, new to bitcoin, I invested some money into bitcoin mid June after seeing all the hype online, since investing it's dropped like 20% really not sure what to do now if I should sell up now take a 20% loss or hang onto it and hopefully it will go up again? But after reading the news looks like it's not going to go back up?

If you can't wait or hold then sell to cut your loses and divert it with another coin,But for me it just 20% loss that not really worrying unless you loss 80% with your investment.Bitcoin is a game of patient and hype.Don't be carried away if you see that you are in negative just be patient.

My advice is to buy altcoin and bitcoin both currently, Because there is great profit in these coins which allow you to earn a great profit and the time is also good to buy and select some valuable coins for long term holding which give you a good profit,

I think you should hold it for a longer period to make it more valuable than you brought it. If you are skilful enough,

I would suggest to you is to hold your coins first if there is a dip price in the market for the meantime just wait and be patience for your profit, and please secure your coins in the safe wallet don't let someone stolen your coins.

Hold is a necessary action in the Crypto market. But we have to set a goal for how much we will sell them in the future. If you hold for long periods of time you will have no escape error.

If you have more times you can cut loss it and buy others coin that the price in the bottom to recover loss, but this is need more knowledge to handle it. And if you dont have times and dont have pasion for that, hodl is only the solution, forgot for year about that your coin and could be with crypto market that keep growing also the price will explode.

Mine loss 50% of its original value but keep holding till i get back my investment with profit much better.. Or if want to cut your loss and start new trade or buy other potential alts and roll it on market to get back your 20% loss..

The best thing to do with your coins right now is to hold because the market price is still low or your can hoard more coins right now in order to earn more profit when the market goes back to normal.

Hold for now because the market goes down. Buy more coins and then hold, that's the best way for now. Trade if the value of your coin was high, if you think that it is good time to sell then sell it. Just sell some and hold some of it for good purposes, don't sell all.
