Hi, if I were to add an Asus 280x to my mining rig which has a MSI 280x already installed would these 2 graphics cards work together? I am asking because I did have a 7950 with a 280x and it didn't work well. Thanks

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

It will work fine, you might just need to set individual clocks for the different card types.
