I think forum is the most useful platform to discuss about cryptocurrency. If someone is active in a good forum then he will learn many things from it.

I agree. Forums are really great platforms to be in and get useful information from people, like for example joining in telegram groups.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

You will find lots of positive people here in the Bitcointalk forum, as well as on Reddit, Twitter, and Facebook. You also might find some Pvt group or channels, where people share their strategy and tricks. If you do a Google search, you might find some interesting topic on crypto.

I use bitcointalk, whaleclub and twitter for my daily dose of cryptocurrency news. If you are really looking for some quality information and news I think following some twitter users like Philakone, Chirs De Rose, RentARocker will do the work for you. They provide some useful insights on the market and the upcoming trends on a daily basis.

I think that forum is the most common place to discuss cryptos as here there are a lot of people who talk about crypto sharing their experience with each other. To my mind, it is better to talk about crypto with experts

Almost all the others are trying to replicate the success of bitcointalk in another way they can deem unique and so as conservative as i am i wouldn't trade this forum for any other even though some telegram channels are doing a fantastic job in this regard.

Twitter should be the way to go, but you need to know who to follow on twitter as there can be many scam and fake accounts who will try to rob you. In that case, do some research from the internet to know about the credibility of the account you are following. Other than that you can try this forum, it has been serving me well for a long time.

Agreed Twitter is a good source but sometimes its hard to select good ones from bad ones
