Bitcoin forecast: Can Bitcoin price worth more than $100k in 2018?

Even if these events were not to occur in near future or in 2018 specifically, it was not possible for the price to reach up so high in a little time. We need to wait for a long time to see this price of Bitcoin. In my opinion the internal clashes of Bitcoin activists are more harmful than any of the event or negative marking.

Hey mate you should read carefully in this thread because they said 100k USD that means 100000 USD you wrongly understand the topic. This year obviously not possible in 100K USD so this discussion is no need for this forum. May be 2020 it will be possible in crypto world.

$50k in 2 years is just too tiny for bitcoin price rises specially since now price is below the real value and we are nowhere near that time when price rises in small increments. at this point we are in the exciting adoption stage and the market is growing fast and although at times there is downtimes like these days, the money is still coming in and waiting to pour back in.

It does not look feasible taking into account the current situation. Had this question been asked in the month of December 2017 many would have said including me that yes it can reach $100k by end of 2018. But things have changed over time and now people are very cautious about putting money into crypto as many countries are putting restrictions and also the bear market which we had from January 2018 until now.

Let's hope after ETF approval may be we can see some big push but that does not seem to happen until March 2019.

According to Bitcoin Price prediction, Bitcoin will touch the $50k mark in the year 2023. It is forecasted to stand at $50044.6 . As per this prediction, it is clear that after 5 year investment only the price can reach to $50k. Within 5 months, it can never touch $100K.

That is too much 100K per BTC is so FUD. Anyway we could maybe expect that there will be  market price increase but not that much imagine that the bitcoin market price as f this moment is only more or less 8KUSD compared to 100K USD then that would be almost x12 increase on the currency market price. So i guess it will not happen.

What do you mean 100k per BTC is FUD? That's not what FUD is, that is a bullish prediction. Anyways, 100k per BTC is not going to happen by the end of the year, I agree with that. But, you are talking about an x12 increase, from $8k - $100k. A 12x increase is nothing, as in 2017 alone Bitcoin experienced a near 20x price increase. 12x definitely is within the realm of possibility. IMO Bitcoin will hit $100k by the end of 2019 or 2020. I very strongly believe this.

This is possibly if only foolish people will talk,but the reality will tell that $100,000 wil not happen this year or even in the next five years,no currency will reached this value and comparing this to gold imagine how many kilos or tons of Gold will cost $100,000 damn what a huge price

I agree. The typical Bitcoin parabolic growth multiples the ATH price by at least 4 times before crashing. This means that 80k - 100k would be the target once 20k gets broken. Of course it takes much more steam every time because the market capitalization is so much bigger at these levels. My target is 2020. By that year we will be at a new ATH or we'll be looking at a new king.

I hope too bitcoin will reach that price. We are just close to the end of this year and I think about two months to go. I did not expect another bull run that will be so great to the extent of moving bitcoin's pricing to $100,000. It will be the greatest miracle of this century. However, that did not mean we are not going to see another bullish trend this year we would but I think bitcoin will remain a little above $10,000 till the end of this year.
We should also note that one day bitcoin is going to hit $100,000 and that time many companies must have adopted it. Don't be afraid about the current happening, if you can hold you will make money.
