I just found out on a thread on a lost thread of this forum (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=361967.0) that Mark Karpelès owns Bitcoins.com since year 2000.

This is not just weird how he got the domain since then, but also finantially very good for those awaiting a good outcome on the mtgox bankrupcy process. If sold, this domain could bring some millions in.

In 2000 MK was in school. He did not buy the domain then. He bought it from previous owner. But, its true, the domain is a good asset and will fetch big money.

It was already discussed. Domain will go to auction as part of liquidation as far as i understood. News was up month or two ago if i'm correct.
