What do you guys think mt gox will release thursday.
I personally believe they will allow withdrawls but with limits.  They probably have to do this if they do want another plummet.  Do you guys think the same or otherwise and why?

Andreas A. thinks that it may take 2-4 more weeks for Gox to update their code. So, I would not be surprised if its another "positive" PR spin saying that they need more time but things are going swell.

If this happens, they are dead.
Resuming BTC withdrawals within this week (at least over the weekend) is their only chance to keep any credibility they might have left.

someone is buying them out and taking over the mtgox brand is what i speculate it to b,  the mtgox brand would be very valuable or at least attractive to have to big companies/banks looking for a way in to bitcoin, without the hassle of building up a new brand.

I think they will allow withdrawals for small numbers of users.   Probably those who requested the withdraws the longest ago.   They would probably hope that this would trickle the word out that people are able to get their money out of the exchange.   When this happens there will probably be a large inflow of deposits from people who are hoping to take advantage of the extremely cheap btc on the exchange right now...

Yes that would be great news, then there would be a legitimate chance of righting the ship, and drastically increases the chances of people getting their money back

takeover would be nice and it could be that, especially if you take their 'supposed" address change in consideration
