I'm interested in getting involved in the development side of cryptocurrency especially this one very ideal for the taxi industry. I'd love to create one in the back of my mind one day so looking for experience.

Just did my first transfer of coins from TheCryptonians pool to my desktop wallet on OSX, pretty speedy transfer ... so far so good.  Just need some trading venues now

That headless version has working console commands, but it has no gui. So you have to choose between "non-qt with console commands" or "qt without console commands".

Yes having difficulties with the wallet and block chain.

51% attack wouldn't happen unless it is on exchanges and has traction

plenty of time for things to even out in that manner.
