This seems ridiculous.  Addicted to crypto.  Your also addicted to food, water, electric and your cell phone.  Don't let these aholes tell you that crypto is some odd addiction that needs medicine and doctors to solve.  This is getting strange now.

The article is interesting, just like joking. But do not expect too many patients addicted to such transactions. Even though we can do a lot of transactions in the day, do not be greedy, there must be at least some limits or rules for yourself.

They say that gambling addiction is about the same as trading addiction, I suppose they were looking for someone with experience with this addiction

Quote
this was the strangest thing I have heard! and it makes me wonder if they would have created the same thing if it was "stocks trading", "Forex", "precious metals",.... or different types of trading. why focus on cryptocurrencies?! that is the weird part.

It exists also for traders in stocks etc. Out of curiosity when I read this news yesterday, I wondered if it also exists.,I searched to find and I found 1 in 20 seconds Grin

That is why I keep saying don't see bitcoin as only a trading material, Cheesy

I am really not interested in the crypto currencies,I will be just keep calm even there is spikes and downhills in the bitcoin prices because I am invested in very very long term.I am also doing little bit of altcoin long term trading as a gambling but I don't invest too much there so I won't get addicted to it anymore.

Yes, probably that is the same thing in addiction and this information looks like very interesting I never expect that there are a company or group of people giving a treatment in addiction of gambling or in trading. I guess it will result in depression to those addict person in trading, and that be curable someone.  I can't imagine the person who is too much addicted to gambling or trading, can't control their selves?

It exists also for traders in stocks etc.

It does, but with the stock market you at least know that you don't have to do anything in the weekend. It allows you to recover and freshly start the week, while with crypto it's 24/7 action. With how greed obsessed people are in the crypto space I am not at all shocked about traders suffering from a certain form of addiction. People are actually volatility chasers -- they don't care what coin it is, just that it bounces up and down repetitively enough to profit from. I have to admit that I was a volatility chaser as well, but never have I forced myself to keep trading. I have enough self control to take distance from the market in case I think it's needed, which unfortunately isn't the case for other people.

Hahaha this is really funny, many people take cryptocurrency trading as a business, so I don't see anything bad for someone trying to give his or her  time to his source of income. My opinion though.

Look at the many people who earn a huge amount of income, concentration and momentum in making decisions will determine the outcome we will get.
Most of what you see people write on the internet is fake or extremely exaggerated. I don't for a second believe someone who's bragging about his profits with trading, especially not when it comes to altcoins.

There isn't a way to book consistent profits allowing you to consider it a viable second income stream. Profits through trading are occasional and for that reason unreliable. The majority of the traders are losers anyway.

I have yet to find someone who's capable of making consistent profits through trading on a monthly basis. People think it's a piece of cake to make profits by trading, but that's because they haven't actively done it.

Those who are actively trading know exactly how difficult it is.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

I think that dependent people (like a person's type) will always find themselves dependent. Dependence - inadequately high susceptibility to this or that external influence, as a rule, in connection with personal inability to refuse influence as a result of such influence.
Indeed, trading increases the level of adrenaline in the blood. Knowingly, in addition to the well-known dependencies (alcoholism, drug addiction, game mania), there are other dependencies, for example kleptomania. Also there are people who are engaged in extreme sports, they are also dependent on the fact that a large amount of adrenaline is released into their blood.
We are all dependen on something. The main thing is to fully understand what kind of dependence it is and if it harms oneself or others, then you need to overcome yourself and stop being dependent. Not all people are strong, there are also those who can not cope on their own, therefore, such establishments are created and will be created.

I am addicted to trading but at the same time try to be patient. I know you shouldnt be doing more than 20 trades per month because sometimes not every trade will be profitable. If I can make 5% per trade 20x a month thats double money in a month.

I am still learning on how to trade crypto. But who knows if I would be addicted in it. I was hoping that in the near future I would become expert in trading not being addicted to it.

Even me, im still learning how to control my emotions but its very hard especially if we are new in this job, but we must put in mind that health is wealth, checking price every now and then is unhealthy,,,, we have to allow ourselves to have rest espescially when the market is down.

However, the headline is a bit misleading as it's for cryptocurrency addiction ( i don't think people can get addicted to trading in general) , it's quite predictable , since people have heard of giant price jumping of bitcoin, they dream of having such ROI by investing in tons of coins hoping one morning one of their investing coins hit 10000% or even more .Everyone is looking for instant wealth creation.

For some novice traders, crypto trading becomes a gamble. I know one person who bought bitcoin in the autumn of 2017 and looked at the stock exchange every hour to know the price changes. When in the fall of 2017 started pump, he bought many different coins that grew.

If you are addicted to trading cryptocurrencies you may need to go to a rehab center. Don't look further there is a hospital in the UK that created treatments for "crypto addicts" led by a former gambling and cocaine addict. They have drug & alcohol addiction programmes, but expand "their business" to cryptocurrency. Who know, in 10 years the pharmaceutical industry will create a crypto medicine.
Anyway, this is your change guys

I don't really know about this one, sound good but how about the result?. Crypto is asset and everyone will try with hard to get it and some of them will never let it go, this is what they need to continue life. Learn and try hard is good but " addicted " is bad. I believe someone already see the problems as a business and this is how the present their method. Try it but not me.

Why does a trader addict will go to a rehab? If being an addict gives you a money, therefore it does not harm you. Otherwise it gives danger to our lives and health. But I think trader that gives their whole time in trading does not mean you are an addict but you just enjoying what you are doing. Enjoyment push us to do more and give our whole time whatever we do.

I have seen on TV how news readers were mocking people suffering from a crypto trading addiction, where the lady said that she doesn't understand how one can be addicted to something that doesn't exist. Really? If we discard the ignorance of that lady, how can you as normal (well thinking) person make fun of people with an addiction? It doesn't matter what the addiction is related to, the core of every addiction is the same and in all cases it's equally as harmful if people don't get the help they need.

You don't like crypto? Fine, but don't make fun of people needing serious help. I'm glad that there are places where people can get the help they need.

It's pretty much the same with how people initially were making fun of gamers with an addiction. Currently no one makes fun of them anymore because it's an acknowledged form of addiction, and the same will apply to people addicted to crypto trading. The mass needs time to overcome their ignorance. They have to put the few braincells they have to work, which is difficult for them.

We could argue the same thing for people who have smartphone addictions and get stuck on social media sites all day long. They're stuck in an alternative reality that is not anything like the world we live in. Essentially it is not real if you compare it to the true patterns of interactions between humans and the experiences that they have. But still people can get addicted to it, and some have even lost their eyesight from lying on their side at night and looking at the phone for long hours.

Conditions of our lifestyles are changing so rapidly that people can't even keep track anymore. And that is no reason to make fun of someone who is suffering from something that is alien to you. We're becoming so entrenched in our beliefs that we cannot understand how people could suffer from something like that, but in fact it is entirely possible.
