As far as i know the update is about to change the gas pricing structure and implement byzantium network and the difficulty bomb looks get another delay and that's it. I'm interested in the difficulty bomb because the next update will bring the blockreward of ethereum decrease more than 5x from the currency block reward rate. It looks interesting for me.

ETH price is being down due to bitcoin and that's a good chance to get some cheap ETH coins.

Good tip, prices usually go up with news of an upcoming hard fork and once that date is near. So its a good idea to keep an eye on that.

hard forks are always scary and undesirable for any system specially when that system tries to be a decentralized one. but the fact is ethereum is far from being decentralized which is why they keep having these hard forks without regarding the risks of them.

I don't seem to understand this fork of a thing. How does it happen and what is even it's necessity. And I recently hear of ethereum cash pro (ECP). Is that the fork?

LOL. It's not a news to get that excited about. It's one of the proposed hard-forks of Ethereum to improve the Ethereum blockchain which has happened many times before and will keep happening sooner as there are a series of proposed improvements. Though with every improvement, we expect a rise in price.

Ethereum Constantinople update will happen, but the roadmap is rather loose which is I guess pretty risky, since it is going to occur all of a sudden. The risk of the chain split is low, but there are still 4 different proposals on how to implement the fork, if I'm not mistaken. One of the offers includes easy arithmetic operations of shifting the numbers to the left or to the right. This is going to enable fast performance, but I guess mining is supposed to become more difficult once again.
I am also not sure that this fork will bring higher eth price, because eth community is likely to become smaller, since miners will lose interest in it.

I just loaded up on Ethereum for the hard fork and the fact that $400 is just way too low for it.  I cannot believe we are down to these prices again.  It's a second opportunity to get in doesn't happen too often.

Sounds exciting so does that mean that all the eth holders will also receive 1:1 of the forked eth just like we used to get bitcoin forks?, if yes i think we should get ready because eth will moon for free fork eth just like btc did last year.

I didn't hear about this.  How much do forks normally effect the price?  I may move some funds over to Ethereum.  I need a safe place to park funds until this blood bath ends.

I think the news about Byzantium is not new news, because some media even wrote about this earlier this year, but what we should wait for is, what improvements will occur to the Ethereum system that is implemented to Byzantium? This is very interesting to wait in October this year
