I really really like this quote. And he is right. Imagine you were at the inner circle and meeting of Round A of the Uber fundraising and you knew all the vision and the inside information and developments. Would you diversify with 10 other holdings or go all in?
Diversification is for people that don't have time or access to get information, but still want to have their money on the market.

You're a total nuts if you diversify your coins in shitcoins but if you hold at least top 5 in CMC then I can tell you're doing good.

It's not you're minimizing your profit but we just see the other potential coins that might give us good profit that we might can't get in holding just one coin.

Yet of course, just hold variety of coins that you think you can monitor so you won't miss anything.

Holding altcoins might be risky but normally, this is applicable only for those person who treat cryptocurrency as their part time job or second source of income just like me. I am holding some altcoins and stored them to a hard wallet. I wanted to save those for a year and hoping that it will bring me some fortune by next year. Trading is bloody specially if you don't have enough information, knowledge and strategies how to trade effectively. Holding is another way of minimizing your risk in trading so it actually is not a bad move as a crypto enthusiast.

i believe that for each person there is a different strategy. one is more lucky with holding and the other is absolute winner in active trading. do what suits you

different alts have different target markets and industries that they're focused to upgrade and enhance..there are projects focused on LOGISTICS,HEALTHCARE,INSURANCE,GAMING,MUSIC,GAMBLING industries and so on....Crypto is a very young market and we are very lucky to have an opportunity to invest this early with maybe soon the next FACEBOOK,the next FedEX,the next AIRBnB,the next MICROSOFT of the Cryptoworld,so for me,holding 20+ alts won't make someone looks like an idiot.It's just that they saw some potential in those alts that really worth to HODL.

Can you tell me which one of them has already delivered the product to the investors? This is crypto and i guess you should not overrated about that. crypto needs to be focused on the economic rather than try to affect another field. It has not yet even adopted by the majority of the economic system.

Every individual has their own unique ways and differs in their strategy. They can either follow the leader, or be the leader of their own game. It is not right to call someone an idiot who does not belong to the norm. We all have the freedom to choose what we think is the best way that suits us.

Only inexperienced investors invest in one coin or one project. Investing all the funds in one project is like betting in a casino on Zero. I prefer to diversify risks, this is the most competent approach to investing.

Well, people have prefferences and reasons as to why they chose to spread out far and wide, sometimes it turns out profitable while other times its just a missed gamble,if you are certain about the quality of the coin you have in store then there is no need to diversify

I'm sure of Bitcoin, but I believe that investing all the money in just one coin is still risky. Especially if investing in different coins will be more likely to get financial profit in the event that one of the coins starts to grow rapidly and will show growth several times.

Crypto market is so volatile so if you want to minimize risks in your investment but a bit lesser in profits, diversification is a better choice but if you want huge profit but with a higher risk involved then don't diversify your investment. So, it's really a matter of individual preferences.

Diversification is for average people who cannot predict the future, and they are  minimising the risk of having all the eggs in one basket.
It is not needed for mediums who exactly know which coin will boom or decline and  at what time.

Maybe for others diversification is an idiot decision but for me diversification helps me to accumulate more Bitcoin and Ethereum. We know that Bitcoin and Ethereum will surely dominate the market but you cannot multiply it if you don't diversify.

Probably he is right. It is better to choose one coin that really will bring money than distribute it between different coins and lose some part

I agree with Kuban, because if you are a supertrader or superinvestor, then, after competent analysis, you can find exactly the asset that will bring you insane profit. But if you don’t understand this very well, then it would be better to diversify your investments in order to gain from loss.

Investing in more than five coins is probably not a very reasonable choice. The world does not need such a large number of decentralized cryptocurrencies. Most of them will disappear over time.
