thank you for that. very enlightening.
Let me address each of those components:
trust... trust is eased in. as anyone can contribute any amount into the smart contract. they will be given bonds. which can then be released (sold back to the contract) and in return they are reward "resolve" tokens. (kinda like ico tokens) if their bonds decrease in value, they are rewarded more resolve tokens.
support... with this model, support is like a snowball-effect that's entirely based on community interest (interest in the project). Tokens are only minted when bonds are sold. This means that the initial resolve tokens minted are VERY RARE as most people will be purchasing bonds to receive dividends as new investors come in. the more the bonds decrease in ETH value, the more resolve tokens are rewarded. THIS IS ALL BAKED INTO THE SMART CONTRACT. immutable
sacrifices... THE BIGGEST ISSUE, is that the team is expected to sacrifice YEARS ahead of time (in an ever changing future) to produce a produce or service. and they are expected to be responsible with all the money they were given on day 1. With this model, the team only has to make incremental sacrifices. Quantifying that sacrifice is a non-issue, as this model ENCOURAGES perpetual communication between community and the development team.
I can do a ropsten launch just to give people a taste of how this works.
I'm just a developer. I will do my best to find better communicators as I'm able. I'm really trying to package this up right, but I need the right team. I need to have a phone call with someone serious right now.
