FOR BITCOIN

1. Electrum
Supported OS: Windows, Linux, OSX, Android
Security: 2-Factor Authentication, seed-phrase, password.

Electrum has long been known (since 2011) to users of desktop computers and is recommended by the official Bitcoin site as one of the best wallets for Bitcoin. This wallet is a flexible and customizable solution for Bitcoin fans who loves to dig in the labyrinths of settings. Also suitable for people involved in accurate calculations with many adresses and simply wanting to know exactly how much, when, from what address bitcoin was spent. It is convenient for those who need increased anonymity, since it works without problems when connecting to the Tor network, through a proxy, etc. Private keys are controlled by the user, regardless of whether the desktop or mobile wallet is used. Technical support actively contacts users.
Features:
•   Electrum has various user interfaces. It can be used on mobile, desktop or with the command line interface.
•   “Pay to many” option. There is an opportunity to send funds to several Bitcoin addresses immediately. Such a transaction is slightly different from the usual transaction, you must carefully fill out the list of recipients and do not confuse the amount.
•   No less convenient from the point of view of working with counterparties is the “Contacts” tab, here you can collect a small personal database of bitcoin addresses that are worth a lot of attention, and sign them with any label
•   Electrum has support for checks, or invoice, list of it will appear in your wallet as soon as you make payment for the first check, on the "Send" tab
•   There is the function of importing private keys, it allows you to connect to the wallet of third-party addresses and perform transactions with their balance on a par with the original owner. With this function, you can pay for the transfer of any amounts to several people at once by one commission, taking their addresses from the ‘Contacts’ section or copying them from corresponding accounts.
•   Electrum allows you to manually set any commission, but not below 0.00005 BTC
•   Electrum supports hardware wallets: Ledger, Trezor, Nano S.

2. Mycelium
Supported OS: Android, iOS
Security: seed-phrase, password (pin code).

Mycelium started as a team of hardware engineers in 2008 with a mesh networking project. In 2012, the team decided to diversify its activities and began using bitcoin technology. Today, the service Mycelium recommendED by the Bitcoin community as a reliable and most functional storehouse for crypto currency.

•   Quick installation. The user of such a purse does not need to download the entire blockchain for transactions in the bitcoin network.
•   Connection via special supernodes in bitcoin-network. All these supernodes are located in different data centers. And this is another "plus" for the speed of work in the application.
•   The presence of an address book with convenient functionality greatly simplifies the search for the desired contact with the address.
•   You can choose the size of the deductions to the miners (comissions). There are four options: priority, normal, economical and low.
•   The purse supports 164 fiat currencies. The default is to support the US dollar. In the settings, you can change the display of the balance for the euro, Russian rubles, Ukrainian hryvnia, Canadian or Australian dollars, Chinese yuan or Japanese yen and other fiat currencies.
•   Integration with popular services (Trezor, Ledger, Cashila, Coinapult)
•   You can sell and buy coins for dollars by tying to the application a dollar Coinapult account. And also freeze the current value of crypto assets in a fiat currency.
•   Mycelium supports BIP70. This is a payment protocol that makes the communication process between the users making the transaction as secure as possible.
•   Local sale. This is a very interesting function of the wallet, which allows you to find the closest buyers and sellers of a virtual coin for making transactions in real time. You can choose the best options for the transaction, taking into account the reputation of the buyer or seller. Discuss the terms of sale or agree on the venue can be in an encrypted communication channel in the form of a chat.
•   Open source

Mycelium wallet - an excellent option for storing bitcoins, which you plan to actively use.

MULTI-ASSET CRYPTOCURRENCY WALLETS

1. Exodus
Supported OS: Windows, Mac, Linux
Security: password, seed-phrase, e-mail backup

Established in 2015 Exodus became now the most popular desktop cryptocurrency wallet. Very simple, intuitive and beautifully designed. Removed the geek requirement to use cryptocurrency and made design a priority.
•   Supports ~ 90 crypto assets and adding new coins from time to time
•   ShapeShift is integrated into Exodus, which provides you with one-click, efficient trading options within wallet.
•   Fixed commissions
•   Operative, instant and friendly support

2. Jaxx
Supported OS: Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, IOS
Security: password (4 digits), seed-phrase

Jaxx, was created in 2014 by Ethereum co-founder Anthony Di Iorio. In part it looks like Exodus: there is an internal exchange of currencies thanks to the integration of ShapeShift, a convenient and intuitive interface.
•   Jaxx supports ~70 crypto currencies (at the moment).
•   The wallet is integrable across eight different platforms, which include: Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, Chrome Extension, and Linux operating systems (can be synchronized).
•    Jaxx has a fixed commission, part of the crypto currency is reserved for it, and the user does not actually have access to the "reserve".
•   The support team is known for its effectiveness and fast response time.

3. Coinomi
Supported OS: Android, IOS (Windows, Mac, Linux – coming Q3 2018!)
Security: password, seed-phrase

Founded in 2014 Coinomi is a very convenient and secure web wallet that supports a huge amount of crypto currency. The developers emphasize that none of Coinomi's wallets have been hacked or compromised in any other way for the whole time of their work. Attention is also paid to confidentiality of transactions - according to the statements of the Coinomi team, special encryption methods practically exclude the ability to track both the crypto-currency transactions themselves and the identity of the sender or recipient.
•   Supports more than 500 assets. The number of supported coins is growing very fast.
•   ShapeShift Integrated
•   Coinomi was opensource during the recent past and users can still download earlier versions of its code. Coinomi’s application license was changed after a number of hackers were found to be manipulating Coinomi’s code.
•   The wallet is very user-friendly and streamlines the process for sending and receiving payments from different blockchains.
•   Transaction fees are calculated dynamically, allowing you to get the best value for money at all times. Alternatively, you can set and use your own fees, in all supported coins.
•   Coinomi is a great wallet if you are going to use it for storing a small amount of cryptocurrency but for large amounts, it is not recommended.

4. imToken
Supported OS: Android, IOS
Security: password, seed-phrase.

imToken was established on May 2016, in the span of 2 years, imToken has expanded outreach to millions of users from more than 200 countries. An excellent solution for those who actively invest in ICO’s or participate in large amount of bounty campaigns and wants to see & control savings in one mobile application.
•   Supports all ERC20 tokens, which is very convenient for users.
•   imToken allows users to decide the transaction fee, higher fees - faster transaction acceptance.
•   ImToken has a very attractive, easy and fast interface.

In conclusion need to say that the large savings should be best stored in bitcoins on hardware wallets such as Ledger, Trezor, or offline in any old laptop with downloaded Bitcoin Core.
