i noticed my rig was running a bit warm so i took it out and vacuumed the fans and heatsink. Just a tiny bit of dust on the fans made them drop  by 500rpm and my temp went up to 82 C. now its back to 76 C.

also never use computer duster without a vacuum. you dont want to blow the dust all over it will just get into hard to reach places.

For those that don't know, never spin a fan with forced air. If blowing/vacuuming the fan, hold the blades still. Also it is inadvisable to touch any PCB components with a vacuum(danger of static discharge).

Use a compressed air can, it will do the trick.

Seen many dust-ball fires. Don't ignore them.

Most common place they go ignored is in the PSU, which will eventually turn into a flame thrower, 'cause the fans spin 100% when it starts to get hot!  Tongue
