Bitcoin @ $119

Is the bubble all done already??

Yep. The dysfunctional exchange known as MtGox has decided to end Bitcoin. Please destroy your wallets and shut down any Bitcoin related software at once.

If you aren't the sole controller of your private keys, you don't have any bitcoins.

Yes, to all newcomers: bitcoin is game over.
too bad, but it is what it is, take it to the museum.
I'm still willing to take all your bitcoins for $1, so you can at least get something out.
please PM

Stupid thread is stupid?...Yep.

Temp bans should start being handed out for stupid threads/behavior. Would make this site so much more informative and tolerable.  ...wait something intelligent?  whoops forgot what site I'm on. Continue with your regularly scheduled FUD.

Gox @112 less then hour before double-digits. This will influence confidence of traders on other exchanges, at least I think so... 100 is a significant number

Only until it doesn't. These final ties will eventually be severed and the decoupling will be complete.

Bitcoin isn't at $119 unless you would like to sell me some of your coins at $119?

The GoxCoinIOU / GoxBucksIOU exchange rate is at $119.

Gosh, I could easily liquidate on BitStamp, Coinbase, or with SecondMarket for over $550/BTC, but the crash is happening on Gox so I should probably send my bitcoins there to sell.  Yes?

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

Because then they wouldn't be able to just steal everyone's BTC and arb the fuck out of them.......of course!  Cheesy

I can confirm that this would be a fantastic idea.

Bitfinex victims. DO NOT TOUCH THE BFX TOKEN! Start moving it around, or trading it, and you will be construed as having accepted it as an alternative means of payment to your USD, BTC, etc.
