Hi

i currently have 4 280X running off of 2 x corsair rm750 using an adapter...

i have 2 of these rigs set up... and im wondering, rather than building another rig, do you think it is possible to add a 5th card to each set-up?

Each PSU has only 2 pcie slots, and obviously both being used on each PSU... but is there another way to connect the cards?

newbie question, but never thought of doing it before...

thanks

Couldn't you easily add a third PSU? 550W?

possibly, but that would make things extremely crowded - plus the extra costs i might aswell just buy another mb etc too....

I guess I look at it differently. The mb, CPU, and ram are overhead costs that just extend your ROI. More cards per rig is more unstable but more profitable.
