Emrals was founded in 2014 beginning with the idea of a cryptocurrency that would reward you for cleaning up trash in your neighborhood. We're proud to be an Open Source project. Based on the well tested Dash, the original masternode coin with big rewards, Emrals is here to grow a community of those who want to prosper. It’s Dash for trash. Combined with our app to get paid cleaning up trash, IoT smart trash can that auto sorts and pays you to recycle, and paid impact zone subscriptions that channel funding into your neighborhood, Emrals rewards city cleanup and helps keep our streets and oceans clean. ♻ Get connected♻ Website ♻DiscordTwitterFacebookGithubExplorerMasternode Guide♻ Wallet and Source CodeWindowsMacLinuxRaspberry PiSource Code♻ ExchangesCrex24Graviex - Planned NovaExchange - Planned ♻ Mining Pools♻ Spurri ♻Minpool♻ Technical Details- 0 pre-sale

The app uses GPS to tell which impact zone you are in. Each impact zone will have it's own Emrals address and be funded by donations through subscriptions and masternodes. Using the app, the person cleaning up will then take a picture of the trash they are about to cleanup and then a picture of it being thrown out. They will then get the reward of x amount of coins depending on how much funding the neighborhood has. Additionally, on the eCan, when an item has a barcode scan or is identified either by Ai or the human, they will get EMRALS depending on the value of the item being thrown out.

Let's focus on the bolded part first. Does it means if there is no donation to certain area, there will be no reward given for trash-picking? Which means, how active and rewarded someone for cleaning is depends on how many people resides on the area who adapt your coin?

Your idea is very commendable but I have doubts about its practical realization, how your relations with the city councils or local authorities to install your recycling points will be? And with current recycling plants? Where will your first test locations be? Regards

Thank you for the questions. We realize dealing with the city councils and local authorities will be challenging and we are not focused on that direction for now. Our primary focus areas are businesses, schools, BIDs and other private institutions. Our current locations that we have installed eCans are The Center for Urban Science And Progress (NYU CUSP) they purchased the first two, Downtown Brooklyn Partnership which is a BID, they purchased the first outdoor eCan. BuildingLink has one in their office - https://www.facebook.com/brittney.gates123/posts/10155383106993827, PS333 school in Manhattan has one that they use for recycling plastic bottles and we recently donated one to the Automotive High School in Brooklyn NY.

Will it be safe to assume that every area will have an equal reward rate for each unit of trash collected? Like, in an populated area and in a less populatef area? If they will be different, what factors will influence these rates?

Thank you for your quick response, it is a smart move go first with private institutions, businesses and schools. Nice to see that you have some eCans already on the field and operating. I see that you are installing your first ones in NY, hope to see more locations nationwide and international. Regards.

To start out with yes. Over time we may want to adjust the rewards based on how the system is being used, sort of like a mining difficulty. No, I mean not like a change in rate from time to time, but a difference in rate for one place to another. Let's say the rate for trash picking in Buffalo is different from NYC? Or on larger scale, Washington to Taiwan?
