Hilux Coin was inspired by the recent events at Venezuela which is facing Hyper Inflation. Their FIAT currency is being produced at a rate so fast that the value of the currency during the morning may be less than the value during the night. Hilux was started by a team led by Swatchie-1 who is serious in building the coin. He doesn't believe in making quick profits by the pump and dumps which he witnessed all these while. Because of that, he ensures the basic infrastructures are ready before launching the coin and he takes his time to do so. The infrastructures which are ready are:

We want to invest in items that are limited in supply, difficult to generate and transferable in value.

Blockchain Security
The incentive mechanism for Proof Of Work is 40% which gives reasonable rewards for miners to stay. Proof of work helps secure the blockchain from malicious attacks while Masternodes help validate the transaction. This keeps the Hilux Blockchain secure which is our primary focus.



Day To Day Use
We would like to have more mobile wallets because it makes it easy for consumers to transfer their HLX to each other. It will always be our continuous improvement subject.



Continuously Looking For Development Contribution
In Hilux, we believe in community effort. Everyone can contribute through Github on improvements they would like and it should be maintained by the community. We also allocated several seed node addresses to the public who would like to be a seed node. Therefore this coin will never go away. You will find that there there were people from around the world that had discovered us accidentally and started mining and running some masternodes. We didn't stop them. It will defeat the purpose and spirit of being a Community Coin. Ask them yourself. We didn't pay them to be part of the community. They would rather risk their hashpower on a coin that is not officially launched yet, than going for the lower risk ethereum mining.

And we are still actively trying to improve our usability. We still have many improvements to make, be it security, usability and user experience.
For instance, mobile phone viewing of our Block Explorer. Many block explorers out there are not even mobile-friendly but we took our time to do this. We believe that for the coin to be useful, it has to be mobile. Not just running the windows/mac wallet which is difficult to transfer funds.
