LTC has been impressive in the last few days. The LTC/USD pair rallied on Friday evening and the prices held strong, hinting at a consolidation. The coin jumped to $85.6 from the low of $82.2 on Friday and currently trading at $83.98. Investors appear to be confident in the coin’s short-term future. We have tracked a downward correction in Litecoin price below the $84.00 level when compared to the USD. The price has managed to hold at 0.01024BTC. The LTC/USD pair traded down towards the $81.50 level before buyers appeared, so we believe that there is support near $81. If we examine the chart above, LTC recorded a low at $81.25 before starting an upward rebound. The price has crossed over the 23.6% Fib retracement level that was formed by the last drop from the $92.17 high to $81.25 low. We have also noted the break above the bearish trend line which previously showed resistance near $83.50 on the hourly chart. This represents a positive outlook for the coin in the near term. If LTC rallies past $85 and holds, it would be a clear indication that the bulls are in control of the market. My honest opinion about Litecoin is that in five years time it will still be a top cryptocurrency.

litecoin may in the foreseeable future be one of the potential coins, from the existing charts I am sure in the future litecoin will continue to run to the highest position, this is not an analysis but just a statement and hope.

a small 2-3% rise for an altcoin is not considered "a jump" and it certainly is not "impressive". in fact it is disappointing specially when you look at bitcoin price and see that this rise in USD value of that altcoins was not because of its own rise but because bitcoin went up 5-10% so that USD value of that altcoin despite getting dumped went up 2-3%.
this is why looking at USD value of altcoins alone is not a good idea ever.

Ah, Litecoin. I'm still very much in profit looking at my very small LTC hoard, which has yet to reach double figures, but still very pleased at how it's performing even at these extreme levels of bearish movement. I don't honestly see it breaking out of the norm just yet, but thanks to Charlie Lee's continued efforts at making it a payment method, once it hits some level of use the way Bitcoin is, we should be able to see some serious trends of its own. Doubt this will happen anytime soon, but $100 by the end of the year should be a suitable target.

Ah, Litecoin. It is difficult to predict the situation of the entire Cryptocurrency market as all investments in this period are very risky and we can not predict anything. Litecoin can replace future payment instruments and many countries will start applying this money in their lives. If you choose to invest, choose a long-term investment because this is one of the coins that will surely survive and will always be in the top 10 coinmarketcap. |

$100 ? Nop, it is a smaller target to reach. Litecoin is traded, transacted just like bitcoin and etheruem, I don't see a reason for it to remain at that price because bullish run is expected. |

The delay of the bitcoin ETF means the correction for bitcoin I guess there will be a lot of time to do a lot of trade before ETF announcement (21 september). that means another correction to the litecoin too. I guess there will be more slighly decrease to the litecoin because it was pegged to the bitcoin. $77 should be considered as a good entry point. |

It is good as a testbed for bitcoin. Everything that was patched on bitcoin was firstly tested on litecoin. Otherwise i dont see much potential in it. Bitcoin will have everything that is good in itself

I agree completely. Not only will it still be a top coin, but I believe it will return to over $350/coin again. That's more than the 2.x times gains you'll get when Bitcoin returns to $18,000 again. I've slowly been putting more and more money into Litecoin the past few weeks. I think anyone that does will be doing just fine in a few months. |

One project IMO that I think its future is directly linked with Bitcoin is Litecoin, for me it will continue to be that SIlver to Bitcoin Gold. The price for now I can't say depending on the performance of BTC in coming weeks if the price continue in North direction, I expectt it to affect Litecoin temporarily before price moving up also

LTC had price $170 month ago, now stay at price $75-85 no matter how bitcoin moves up. I would invest ETH, ETH is more impressive. From 430 to 530. LTC is not impressive at all. |

I will wait and want to by Litecoin for 40-50$ and it will be the best price to buy, I doubt we'll see such cheap LTC ever again in the future.
